Water Farm House is a beautiful farmhouse nestling in beautiful rolling countryside on the historic North Downs Way. Dating back to 1689, this characterful country home is incredibly generous in size, yet its welcoming and relaxed interior make it feel wonderfully homely - the perfect place for multigenerational families or friends to come together. At the heart of the house is the large, light filled kitchen and dining room, exceptionally well equipped for group stays, with doors opening straight onto the beautifully kept garden. This is the perfect spot to watch the various wildlife that likes to pay a visit. Just off the kitchen are a useful larder and separate utility and cloakroom, while elsewhere downstairs there is an elegant, yet cosy sitting room with comfortable sofas and armchairs, a TV and large wood burner, as well as the entrance hall with a decorative fireplace and chairs. Upstairs, the five bedrooms are all spacious and comfortable, and there are two family bathrooms. One of our favourite details is the house’s two staircases, one leading up from the kitchen and another from the front hallway, creating an unusual circular layout that children will love exploring (and is particularly good for a game of hide and seek!). At the top of the stairs is a study area with a desk and chair for guests who want to work or study in peace. There are two single beds that can be moved into whichever room guests prefer to create two family rooms sleeping three guests in each. Outside, the mature garden is a real highlight, with established planting, plenty of space to sit and a large lawn for children to run around and play. Beyond the garden, Stowting feels wonderfully tucked away amongst rolling fields and countryside, with footpaths from the village and the excellent Tiger Inn just a short stroll away. For days further afield, the coast at Hythe, Sandgate and Folkestone is within easy reach, as is historic Canterbury. Water Farm House really is the perfect holiday home for families and friends to relax, unwind and make those special memories.

Water Farm House is a lovely home and garden, perfect for a relaxing break. It was spotless on arrival and the garden was perfect for strolling, sitting out and for the dogs to run around safely. The house is very comfortable and so well equipped to make a stay easy. The location has beautiful views and is totally peaceful, with a good pub a short walk away.

We had a wonderful stay at Water Farm House and regretted not staying longer. The interiors were perfectly designed and functional to house 11-12 Guests. The house was spotless!

We ate at the Tiger Inn which was also great and then wondered over to Brabourne vineyard which was about a 30 minute walk and would highly recommend as an activity in the area when staying.

I would definitely stay here again and with Keepers cottages on future staycations
