Welcome to Grosvenor Place, a thoughfully restored Georgian townhouse in the heart of Margate's Old Town. This elegant and impressive light filled home offers generous sized rooms, high ceilings and beautiful interiors with original features such as wooden floorboards, arched windows and open brick fireplaces. Each room has been carefully curated, decorated with warm tones and thoughtful touches that make it both stylish and comfortable. The tall windows flood each room with light, creating a lovely atmosphere that changes with the day. On the ground floor, you'll find a spacious and well-equipped kitchen, perfect for unhurried meals at home, whether you’re assembling local deli finds or sharing a bottle of wine after a day by the coast. Upstairs, two beautifully styled bedrooms provide calm, restful spaces to retreat after a day exploring Margate. Each has been designed with simplicity in mind, pairing soft linens with muted tones. The house has two bathrooms, one shower room and then a larger bathroom with a roll top bath and separate rainfall shower. The living room sits on the first floor, boasting a Juliet balcony looking out to Margate's famous Dreamland and the sea beyond as well as a woodburner, perfect for winter weekends by the fire. There is also a useful separate study for those that need to log on to work during their stay. Outside, you are just moments from Margate's vibrant seaside life - whether enjoying a dip in Walpole Bay Tidal Pool, visiting the Turner Contemporary, or simply exploring the Old Town's with its independent cafés, galleries, and vintage shops. Grosvenor Place will easily be the place that convinces you to move to Margate. Designed with adult stays in mind, the house is perfectly suited to couples or friends looking for a slower pace by the sea.

A friend and I stayed at the property for three nights. We were very pleased with the accomodation it had everything we needed and more. The decor was very in keeping with the age of the property which we liked and it was in a good location to explore. The house was clean, tidy and spacious. Having the outside area was a bonus too and very welcome due to the warm weather. I would stay here again.

We spent 8 days at 52 Grosvenor Place Margate.
It was a beautiful old house built around 1900.
Everything was absolutely brilliant. The house had lots of character and furnished in a very tasteful way.
The walled garden was a great place to sit and entertain friends.
For us we couldn’t have chosen a more delightful and calming home.
If there was a drawback it was simply the stairs as we are not young.
The location is close to the old town as well as the beach.
