The property was in a perfect location- south facing with view of windrush lake. The property was beautifully done out with everything we needed! Would definitely go back again.
This holiday was all about having some quality time together in a setting that suited us as a family. The house had everything we needed (& even though we couldn't find the tin opener late one afternoon, one was promptly provided the next day). There were one or two little glitches, which we rang Orion Holidays about and which were dealt with or noted. All the staff representing Orion were polite and attentative to detail. We loved the fact the property was open plan, something we don't have at home and right next to the lake. Every day the view just stunned us. We could hear the road wher...more
Excellent location looking over uninterrupted view across the lake. Well maintained park and grounds. Pool provided great fun for all the family from 3 year old to Sixty year olds. Accomododation fully equipped with everything you needed close to hand. Looking forward to returning next year with the family.
The house has stunning view and very good condition. Kitchen provides all equipment needed. It also gives you a very detail guide about the facilities, dinning and shopping. No hassle to Google a lot before you go.
Had a lovely stay in this cottage in the Cotswold Water Park. The surroundings are beautiful and the cottage is a really lovely, welcoming place to stay. We had a lovely family Christmas there
I felt at home as soon as we arrived. Little Maine was right next to Isis lake and was wonderful to wake up to every morning. My dog loved too and I taking her for a walk 3 times a day every day was a joy. Not just for the views and the wild life but also the very well kept areas around all the Lodges, lakes and wooded areas. I really needed the break and peace - no TV - no newspapers - and I only left Isis Lakes for a total of 3 hours!. Thank you.
We have stayed in a couple of the Cotswold water park holiday complexes and the Orion/Isis is by far the best- well presented, warm accommodation, great customer service from Orion staff, easy access to Cirencester and the Cotswold villages, and good wifi/mobile reception . The welcome pack was a nice touch and appreciated.
Mill village site is excellent, very clean and safe. Good out door pool and plenty of stuff to do in the nearby lakes and spa facility. Also very peaceful and tranquil surroundings. The accommodation was very good too but some of the furniture needs an update. would definitely book Dragonfly again and highly recommend the Cotswolds Water Park holiday lifestyle it has that unique mix of tranquillity and action, if you want it
We stayed at Carpe Diem - Very comfortable and practical accommodation, which was ideal for a family with two young boys. The thoughtful owners provided racquets and other sports equipment for our use and there were plenty of indoor games and puzzles too. We had fabulous weather so the TV was little used and we were able to make full use of the fishing on site. Water sports are easily available at neighbouring lakes and we spent a lovely day at the Cotswold Park Farm. Unfortunately no bbq was provided, so we provided our own. On a negative note there were a couple of maintenance issues whic...more
We had a fantastic week at 43 Windrush everything was well organised as far as the house was concerned and the view of the lake was to die for. However we chose to stay there because we were told on the phone that we could fish directly in front of our accommodation, this was not the case as there was a reed bed in front of the property. As the rules state you are not allowed to fish in front of other properties We had to drive to other areas on site so that we could fish. Not exactly what we had hoped for, but it didn't stop us catching fish! We might go back for another holiday but...more
This property was rented on the basis of its price, as we needed to find something very quickly for family reasons. We found the location to be peaceful with lakeside access (although the jetty had clearly not been used, and was overgrown). however, the house itself was clean and 'homely' in that, whilst very well presented, was not pristine, in that it had been used. This made it more welcoming. Well equipped and with easy access, the only difficulty we found was, as we arrived at nearly midnight, the lack of any form of lighting on the road made it difficult to find the parking spot, and...more
This is our second stay at spring lake. We had a fabulous time. The lodge had everything you needed to make a perfect stay comfortable. The view from the lodge is superb and to top it all we had great weather. If I can find fault which is difficult, the outside of the lodge could do with a clean, the glass around the patio area was dirty (we cleaned it ourselves for a better view of the lake), the white A frames, patio door and window frames could do with a wash down to remove spider webs etc. All I all we had a fabulous relaxing week away with great walks with our little dog. A great place to...more
This is the second time we have taken a break in this property. It's great to turn up safe in the knowledge that as soon as you open the front door everything will be as you expected - heating on, clean, tidy and ready just to enjoy. The views from the balcony are also great and help take you away from the hassle of a busy work environment instantly.
We just returned from an amazing week at the Cotswold water park with our 1 year old boys . We stayed in Naterjack on Isis lake. The house was perfect. Very clean, inside and out. The grounds are amazing. The whole place was a perfect base for a holiday in the Cotswolds.
Amazing place, excellent for families and wonderful play area for kids of any age. House big enough to accommodate two families. Comfortable, clean and close to the places we were planning to see. Wonderful choice
We all had a great time and the hot tub was a big hit. A lovely property with all the facilities we could wish for. We will book again in the future.
This was the 4th time that we have enjoyed our annual family get together with Orian holidays at the Cotswold Water Park. The houses are wonderful - well equipped and alway beautifully clean. We book three houses and 2 take our family dogs. One of the main attractions is being able to take part in water sports on the lake. Everyone, from 3 to 90 gets on the water to sail or kayak. The children are free to cycle around the site roads and enjoy the play area and other sports facilities in safety. It really is the perfect setting for a family reunion. And, the staff at Orion go out of their way t...more
We booked this accommodation for a few nights to have a break loved being able to walk out on the decking area and see the swans and ducks The accommodation has more than enough cooking utensils and plates cups mugs they also left us dishwasher tablets to use everyday .
We had a really good holiday and thought the location was excellent with lots of activities to do. The property was fine but felt that we were just staying in someone else's house and using there belongings. It was not set up to make you feel that you were on holiday and being treated to something special.
Damsel Cottage provided an excellent opportunity for the whole family to meet up an celebrate Christmas together. With a great location, not far from Cirencester, the cottage was ideal. With great accommodation, a cosy wood burning stove and stunning views across the lake it was a magical setting. The Orion rep was very helpful and rapidly assisting us to make this a special holiday to remember.
Really enjoyed a short break at 89 Windrush Lake. It was a lovely house, very well fitted out and in a great setting overlooking the lake. There was plenty of room for 7 or 8 adults inside and out. The outside deck with its seating and BBQ was particularly brilliant as we were lucky with the weather. Had the weather been poor we would have made even more use of all the games supplied. Just wished there had been some table tennis bats and balls to take over and play on the table.
As no one was in prior to or after leaving we had early arrival and late check out - which was great. I cant stand companies who ignore the convenience of this if able - well done Orion. Great weekend.
The lodge was well equipped, warm and comfortable. I can imagine it being a great place to stay in the summer too. We didn't bother with the spa as it was mostly closed while we were there, and it seemed a bit of a mission to pay and book, but I guess if one really wanted to go it would be a good addition to the stay. We enjoyed our break very much.
I was pleasantly surprised at how well organised Orion was in letting this holiday house to us. Even the little details of a Christmas Card and Chocolates on arrival was such a wonderful touch. A member of the team came over to explain everything to us which was great too. The house and location was beautiful, very clean and very spacious. I have stayed in the Park twice now and would definitely recommend it especially for large groups.
Fabulous property and great location. Property was well equipped and absolutely spotless. Park well maintained and clean. Security team very friendly and helpful. Would certainly book property again.
Eider Lodge was a good base for exploring the Water Park and Cotswolds. Loved the views from the balcony and enjoyed watching the water sports. Nice to find a property that welcomed dogs, it was well equipped and comfortable. The home felt a little impersonal and unloved, but dog friendly properties can't be expected to have fluffy carpets and white sofas! Overall we had a great week and would stay again. A note on the water park in general, we were shocked at the amount of fast traffic (50mph speed limit) and heavy lorries (from the quarries) on roads where families were cycling and crossing....more
The house is lovely, we had a great stay, would definitely recommend and will be back. Thanks very much.
What a thoroughly enjoyable stay. We loved staying here at the Lodge. Our 2 girls loved feeding the ducks off the rear decking area, and we were lucky to be next to the jetty so they played slightly in the water with their wellies on. We brought our dog who loved being able to watch the ducks on the decking and we took her out for runs around the lakes (we ran too) The living area downstairs was great for our needs and we never got cold with the underfloor heating easy to adjust and an added heater too. We had everything we needed to eat, play and entertain. Upstairs, the master bedroom was...more
Am enjoyable stay at the property. It was a very nice property which was clean and had all the facilities we required. The downside was the location of the property it was difficult for the property to be found by taxis and the complex would be better to if an exit could be directed.
We had a few problems with equipment (the tv remote had the on off button missing and a fridge that did not work) but the staff dealt with these and were apologetic that we had been left with a fridge that did not work and a replacement was delivered with no shelves included! The TV remote needs to be replaced. The towel rail in family bathroom was broken and had to be taped up.
We rented 27 Clearwater for a November weekend to meet up with two other families. The house was lovely and the views from the windows were amazing. Lower Mill Estate is an absolutely brilliant place. Orion were fabulous at making us feel welcome, and the staff on Lower Mill were equally friendly and welcoming. If you are staying for just a weekend you don't need to leave - you can walk everywhere, go for long country walks, have a coffee or a swim.
Had to ask directions to find property, but on the whole we had a lovely weekend and everything was very satisfactory
This is the second time we have stayed here. The property is very spacious, plenty of room for six people and two dogs. It is very well equipped with everything including dishwasher tablets, hand soaps etc. The area is lovely with nice walks whether or not you have dogs with you.
The unit itself had everything you would require staying in a house. I have few suggestions that you might like to take on board. 1. There was no safe for valuables i.e. passports, valuables. 2. The front door could benefit from a good locking system, everywhere in the house good security locks, felt very vulnerable as the door was glass and had only a sheer curtain, felt I was in a gold fish bowl. Some nights spent the night on the couch as there was a lot of foot steps which I really felt as though they were in the unit. The grounds are beautiful and the wild life delightful, I wo...more
