Excellent location, perhaps a little tight for space in the living area for 6 adults, very helpful owners, well looked after accommodation and a good hot tub. We had an enjoyable week.
Broadmea Barn proved to be a great base for 3 generations of our family of 10. The kitchen was very well equipped with every utensil to cook meals for the whole family. The 4 teenage grandchildren and friends spent many hours in the robes (provided freely by the barn owners) going in and out of the hot tub and sauna. Nearby is the Michelin recommended Kirkstyle Inn , where we had an excellent meal, and in Alston, Alston House was also good.
