Nice quiet area and great being close to adventure centre for thinks to do. Houses: Hard beds/pillows. Very slippery patio. Plus smell of sewage from the on suite. Could not see the programs on the TV it was so small.

Our house at Ballyhass Lakes was spacious and modern and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were very helpful. We enjoyed morning walks round the lake. Gorgeous misty cobwebs and fish jumping. We found it a good location for touring with 3 young children aged 4, 6 and 8. We took them to Fota, which was an hour away but Blarney, the donkey sanctuary, Doneraile park and Grenagh open farm were less than half an hour. There is no wi fi in the house although you can get it at reception. The house is probably due a bit of a re vamp after a few years of use e.g. chipped crockery and a missing blind but it was clean and comfortable and we thought excellent value for money for Cork in August.
