This spacious four bedroom family home, sleeping 8 guests, benefits from off road parking for one vehicle. It is ideally situated to be within reach of Sandown town centre, Sandown pier, Sandown's sandy beaches, Los Altos Park and the train station. With two reception rooms, spacious kitchen diner, bathroom, shower room and downstairs cloakroom, this is an ideal home for families to holiday together. Although please note there is limited outside area for children.

Conveniently located and roomy holiday home. Quiet location although near centre of town. Clean and comfortable beds and sofas. Good-sized, well-appointed kiichen-dining room with table to seat 8. Bathroom would have benefitted from an over-bath shower to augment the other shower room as with five adults and one 10-year old it was quite a scramble for the shower each morning We had a problem getting dishwasher going but this was quickly addressed by the owner and problem solved satisfactorily.

This was our families first time coming to the isle of wight and after this hoilday we will definitely be back. Woodleigh house was amazing it had more than enough space for us all, 4 Adults and 4 kids, it was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. It was in walking distance to the beach which was about 5mins also shops, pubs and the bus stop which was great for people who dont drive.

What can I say about this house..
nice location, only a 5 minute walk from the main shops and the seafront.
The house is in good condition considering it’s a rental house. There are a few points, which need attention. The shower in one of the bathrooms need a new strip as it leaks. It been like that for a while as there is a notice stuck to the wall…
The bed was very uncomfortable and creepy, you can hear the springs when you get on it. The WiFi was very poor, it’s goes on and off all the time, as it uses the talk talk router in the middle bedroom. So downstairs you only just get a signal, which makes it very in reliable due to weak signal. It needs a access point putting in.
Besides that it was a nice house with games and

Accommodation was pretty good, though the area was quite rough with very loud parties happening next door and very anti social behaviour in the street outside, including some idiot trying to damage my vehicle at 3 am.
Road works outside being undertaken when we were there meant it was very noisy during the day and up to 8pm in the evening some days but this wouldn't be the norm. The area of Sandown (or Rundown) as we were calling it, was very 'rundown' and many buildings on the front in terrible state of repair or completely gutted and boarded up (fire damage). A lot of shops had their windows smashed or boarded up and looked more like a war zone than holiday resort. In total 'not' a nice place to stay on the Isle of Wight and we will not be returning.

2nd stay at Woodleigh. Lovely house with everything that you would need for a large group stay. The garden team arrived during the stay to sort out the front garden.All rooms spotless, linen etc all lovely. Would love an area to dry beach items outside - small 'A' frame provided but very small and unable to locate the pegs to use the triangular outside washing line for bulkier items that cannot be tumble dried. ? An extendable washing line may be better. Overall another fabulous stay.

We have stayed at Woodleigh twice now, I would highly recommend it. Very well equipped . Cots and other baby equipment available if needed. Books and games provided. Very comfortable and clean.

We stopped here July 2018 and loved it this is why we have returned to woodleigh but this time the carpets and skirting boards were dirty and a musty smell from the kitchen & PS3 didn’t work
The garden was dirty with old beer cans and weeds.
We love the island and hopefully be looking for somewhere for next year.

This house is a beautiful holiday base, we were very impressed from the minute we arrived. There was plenty of room for the six of us to relax in after spending a day on the beach. The kitchen was really very well equipped, everything we needed was there. We will definitely book this property on our next visit to the Island.

1. when we arrived no welcome pack as advertised !
2. Turned oven on to roast a chicken and the kitchen filled with smoke as the oven had not been cleaned by the previous people or whoever was responsible !
3. Found nappies and dirty sock in one of the bedrooms.
4 . Couldn't use shower above bath as hot tap was faulty so all family had to use shower !
5 . Shame we had a few problems as the house was very comfortable with a good location and good parking .
6. We would love to use this property again provided it was checked/cleaned properly before occupied.

This property is not advertised as having a welcome pack included. If the issues of the oven and cleaning were reported to ourselves, we would have done everything to rectify this for you. However we have informed the cleaners of comments to ensure this does not happen again. The shower was reported and we sent a tradesman who fixed the hot mixer tap the same day. We are so glad that you enjoyed the property and location and would like to welcome you back in the future.

Really lovely house. Plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 children. Very well equipped, toys, games, dvds for the children. Baby equipment if needed. Short walk to the beach and pier. Bus stop very close. Would definitely recommend

Thank you Woodleigh! We had a great stay. 4 bedrooms - 2 doubles, 2 bunk and 2 single beds. Had everything...kitchen had dishwasher tabs, laundry powder, foil, condenser dryer. Downstairs had lots of books, kids toys and games, PS2, and TV..perfect for wet English weather. Everything neat and tidy. Good quality furniture, bedding, comfy beds. Peaceful. Drawers full of takeaway menus. 10mins walk to beach/shops. Parking off Street. Couldn't have asked for more. Very generous and organised hosts. Wonderful stay.

The house was lovely, bright and cheerful and very spacious and extremely well equipped for all ages. We all felt very at home and very comfortable in the property. It was cleaned to a high standard, the kitchen was very well equipped and there was everything you might need. The children's playroom was an added bonus and the toys and books. we managed to squeeze two cars into the parking area too. We may well book the property again as it is very convenient for public transport buses and trains as well as by car.

This is a beautiful house in a perfect location. We were very comfortable and very happy with the accommodation. We would stay there again and recommend to others.

We stayed with 6 adults, 2 children and an infant.
The place wasn't cleaned sufficiently and there were little stones, sweetie wraps and rice crispies on the floors. My daughter stood in a fish hook that was missed on the children's bedroom carpet. There was on outside table that had to be removed as it was partially rotten and screws sticking out, as well as a nail sticking out from the floor boards.
After these initial stumble stones were overcome we enjoyed our stay. The house is very well equipped for small children including stair gates, high chair and cot. There are plenty of books and games for kids aged 3-15.
It's well located in the centre of Sandown, most of the attractions are in walking distance.
The customer service is very good as the safety hazards we complained about were rectified on a Sunday morning and there was good email contact throughout our stay. One thing is to be mentioned that the dining table seats 6 people with a tight squeeze but is not made to accommodate 8, which was a downer for us as we were planning family dinners having a annual reunion with relatives from abroad. One of the dining chairs actually broke underneath my 75 year old father who is a slim person.
Saying all this we had a good laugh and enjoyed the stay, I guess now that these issues have been address the place is a nice holiday home for a family of 6.
The owner kindly refunded us 20% of our fees.

The Accommodation was centrally located and a great base for the isle of white festival. The house was very well equipped and very spacious . Would definitely stay here again
