Solent View was a home from home with all we needed for our holiday. Its location was convenient for travel and there is a bus stop right outside. It’s a popular property with many returning year after year which says it all.

We enjoyed this property so much we have booked it again for 2024. It was very convenient for shopping, either the shop at the bottom of the road or a supermarket at Ryde. We have been told by Island Holiday Homes that the owners, after next year, will be stopping letting it to holiday makers which will be a shame but we are sure we will find somewhere comparable.

A clean, well presented home with a large, well-equipped kitchen. Light and airy with comfortable furnishings; having two large tables meant we could breakfast together in the kitchen and have an evening meal together in the lounge.
The boiler stopped working Thursday morning (no hot water) so I followed the instructions to report a fault.
It was resolved within an hour!!
Alas, we didn't see any red squirrels in the garden!
A Londis shop is literally 5 minutes walk away which is handy and the road and area is nice and quiet.
We would certainly stay again.

Have used the property several times and it is a very comfortable and well equipped, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. Interior steps are a bit awkward to negotiate.

Yet another excellent stay at this well located and equipped property. It has a great garden and place to sit outside to enjoy the peaceful and quiet and soak up the sun. Highly recommend.

Very nice bungalow in a good area.

5th time here so that says it all. This bungalow fits our needs perfectly, always immaculately clean but this year even more so, hand sanitizer on entry and plenty hand wash and cleaning supplies. Nice quiet location but not far from anywhere. We love the area, nice walks for the dog when he visited and already rebooked for next year

I cannot fault the bungalow in any way. It was well cleaned, very well furnished and equipped and excellent value for money. It is in a very nice and quiet street that is about a 20 minute walk to the beach and it is also on the bus route. I highly recommend staying here.

We enjoyed our stay at Solent View, the location is excellent, so quiet and a great base for many of the attractions. The bungalow is spacious, clean & very comfortable, but be careful of the steps down to the bedrooms and in the hall which are not ideal for those with limited mobility - or those little trips in the night in the dark! The garden & decking are lovely, great if you take a dog (which we didn’t) and the neighbours are friendly. There is a small shop very close which was handy.
All in all a great time which went too quick and definitely a property I would book again.

Excellent and very clean holiday home - perfect for our needs.

Good location, close to the coast and in easy reach of amenities. The property was very clean and in a very good state of repair. We certainly felt that this was a good value holiday rental.

The house and location were excellent - far better than we imagined. Everything about the house and garden was perfect. We all had such a lovely stay and have booked already for next year. Our week was over far too quickly. Looking forward to next year.

This was our fourth year at the property and we have already booked for 2020. This obviously says we enjoy stopping at the bungalow. The location is great for us being quiet and not too far away from the beach.

This is our 4th stay at solent view so if that doesn't say what we think about this place, nothing will. We love it here, perfect location, great walks nearby, great eateries, gin distillery. Already rebooked for next year!!!

Quiet location with spacious accommodation including fully enclosed garden. Plenty of parking but on a regular frequent bus route. Close to Ryde but far enough out to make getting round the Island easier. Steps from decking rather steep but level access to the garden from the kitchen. Not a picture postcard cottage but an excellent base for an Island holiday..

Excellent spacious bungalow, with comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and garden, which was also much appreciated by the dog. It is definitely a home from home experience and made for a very relaxing holiday.
