Another lovely stay at Thief Hall Cottages. In a beautiful spot, with every changing views depending on the time of year, so relaxing. Thank you to Jessica, Holly and team for making us feel so welcome. It's like coming home and we are hoping to return very soon.
Location, quality of accommodation, and service were all excellent. Disabled facilities were a much appreciated bonus.
Millington House was a perfect place for us. We were combining a short holiday and visiting relatives nearby. The house was spotlessly clean, spacious, and very well equipped. The beds were comfortable, and bathrooms excellent, with lots of lovely soft towels and products to try. The views from the terrace are beautiful, you can see the Dales and the Moors, and we were lucky to have some good weather so we enjoyed them whilst eating outside. The location is ideal for visiting Fountains Abbey, Harrogate, York, etc. We had a great time here.
5 **** absolutely amazing **** already booked 2 more cottages for next year *** can't wait to come again **** and the hot tub is out of this world
We have stayed many times at Thief Hole Cottages and every occasion has been of the same very high standard. The cottages are always immaculately clean, every household basic provided - no need to bring a single thing with you. On top of this there is a basket of goodies fruit, flowers, champagne/wine, local news papers and magazines, an in-house folder of whats on locally. The fridge has milk, butter and eggs plus bread and biscuits - your every need really has been thought about.
Turpin Cottage was very spacious in comparison with most other one-bedroom self-catering accommodation we have used. The owner provided special touches above the norm. It proved a relaxing place to come back to each evening after a long day's walking (we used it as a base for a leg of the Coast-to-Coast walk and did 40 miles in all, from Danby Wiske to Glaisdale). The two small equipment issues we had were promptly and efficiently dealt with. Overall, a first-class experience.
