Certainly a very well appointed property and looked after excellently, very well equipped. A little tucked away and the entrance/exit to the driveway is tricky with all the stones at the entrance to keep people off the grass.
Because we were 3 men all wanting separate rooms with facilities I drew the short straw and had the very small double up the far end as it had the tiny bathroom and loo etc. Really the positioning of that bathroom is inadequate in that you cannot stand up properly, also getting out of the bath as a 74 yr old was a nightmare ! I feel that a shower should have somehow been accommodated rather than the little kitchen area. I do appreciate however that children would love being in there !!
These comments are not complaints, purely observations and would stay again but have re-work the sleeping arrangements somehow !

This was really a very lovely cottage…..well equipped and it had its quirky bits. The layout was a little higgledy piggledy which was absolutely fine for the four of us but might be a little more challenging with 8. This comment is predominately based on the location and number of bathrooms.
A very nice and fully enclosed garden ideal for four legged friends.
The staff were exceptionally helpful and speedy in supplying us with a cafetière which seemed to have gone awol from the kitchen.
But it must be said that other wrap around aspects that Yeo Valley provide (10% off the bill at their local pub, free entry into the organic garden) coupled with all the local environmental work they have and are undertaking demonstrates a really good ethos which has to be applauded.

We enjoyed our short break with Yeo Valley. The property is in a great location for walking and seeing the beautiful view of Blagdon lake and beyond. The property is very safe for dogs and is great for reactive dogs as there is very little activity passing by the property. The house is lovely, well presented and very clean. The self contained part of the property has very low ceilings, so is quite awkward for tall or elderly couples and there is no where to dry towels, hooks would be a great addition or free standing towel holders. Our elderly relatives said the shower was slippery and suggested a non slip mat would also be a good buy. Otherwise, a fantastic property for entertaining, there is plenty of space and good amount of utensils and cooking equipment, plenty of storage and fridge/freezer space. The garden and adjoining field is lovely in a peaceful and tranquil setting. I would highly recommend, as long as you do not struggle with steps and stairs.

A really well equipped modern house which was perfect for our family gathering. Everything was provided including dairy products.
We were really pleased that we chose this place.

Want to take your team away to replenish and reinspire? Yeo Valley HQ has wonderful conferencing facilities and delicious dining options in addition to fantastic accommodation. I booked both Coombe Lodge and Heronmere.
I ran a burnout retreat for 10 professionals here during the autumn and the care we received was fantastic. Highly recommend.

The flat was clean and nicely decorated with a little kitchen area. The owner had left tea, coffee, milk and yogurts to use, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, there are sloping ceilings throughout the property, making it difficult to walk around comfortably without banging one’s head. We are not tall people so anyone on the tall side would have a problem. The bathroom is tiny and doesn’t have a stand up shower, only a bath with a shower attachment. Getting in and out of it would be very difficult for older people, especially with the ceiling sloping on one side. It’s in a lovely quiet secluded area about a mile from Blagdon. There’s a long narrow unlit gravel lane to the property with sharp pointed rocks cemented in along both sides and also down the drive to the property, so care should be taken when driving along at night.

Thank you for your review.
I would like to highlight that 'The Snug' where you booked to stay is a small annex within a larger property, Coombe Barn. The Snug doesn’t reflect the rest of the property which can host a further 6 guests comfortably with a large comfy family lounge, modern kitchen, large utility room, en-suite & family bathrooms, a bright conservatory full of flowers a table tennis table in the garage and a cinema room.
Regarding the driveway, there are some stones running along the grass verge at the side of a short track to the property, which guides guests to a reasonably wide (double gated) tarmac driveway.
