Very cosy and comfortable cottage and a lovely outlook over loch awe. Ideal and dog friendly for our dogs. Conveniently situated for going out and exploring the surrounding area. Great for walking.
We really loved our holiday. The cottage is really cosy and homely. The kitchen is well equipped. The facilities are good with lovely bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms. The drying room attached to the cottage was a massive bonus. There is lots to do on the estate and beautiful walks from the cottage. It is ideal for a quiet getaway. The garden is pretty. We will definitely return.
Perfect cottage for us and our 2 spaniels. Really cosy especially with the log burner on. Rural position, lots of walking from the doorstep. Had everything we needed.
The cottage was lovely and perfectly placed for our purposes. It’s quite tucked away and rural but within driving distance of such beauty. Everything in the cottage was immaculately clean and in good order. The plate of flapjacks in welcome were snapped up. When I needed a bit of help Willa was on it immediately and was so helpful. Only one small niggle. I would be nice to get a cuppa after a long drive to get there, as the nearest shop we found was about 15 mins away. There were a few teabags but no sugar or milk.
Thank you again for another lovely stay in the Farm Cottage. Excellent location and a well equipped house. It is ideal for a family with three generations. Good size dining table and good-sized living space to spend the evenings in. Very comfortable and clean, warm and homely but without unnecessary items. Lovely to see the lambs out again and the deer in the woods. Plenty to do in the area and good weather!
Being only 4 of us and two Giant Schnauzers, the house may seem slightly large. However, it fitted our purpose exactly and was very welcoming. A roaring fire in the evening and fabulous views in the daytime this house had everything we needed. The dogs enjoyed their time both in the enclosed garden and wider afield. It is a working farm so unless your dog is sheep and cattle trained and friendly, it needs to be on a lead. Exactly as advertised …with additional unexpected treats …getting out of your car and your senses being hit with what sadly most of us are missing …the sounds, sights and smells of nothing but nature. Heavenly. Remote Loch fishing …and sweet treat on arrival …I could go on but want to keeps this place a selfish secret
