The apartment itself was absolutely stunning, very well appointed and comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms were equivalent to a 5 star hotel and the lounge was cosy and comfortable with a huge TV. The only problem with the TV was that it was a little confusing to use but everyone is used to there own TV and how to use it so other people probably would find it similar to there own. The kitchen and dining area are well laid out with everything you could possibly need for a week away. The overall building is a triumph of design and conservation having been sympatheticly converted at what app...more
This was our second stay at Arran Shores and I can't recommend it highly enough. The apartment we stayed in was beautiful, very comfortable, and genuinely felt like a home away from home. The location is brilliant - Lamlash is such a lovely place with beautiful views and lovely restaurants and pubs (The Drift Inn is a must!) Val is also such a thoughtful, accommodating, and friendly host who is always happy to help if there are any issues (e.g., changing ferry times). Myself and my husband have been visiting Arran for over a decade now, and this is the best accommodation we've stayed in whi...more
We had a wonderful time at Lamlash in the Arran Shores apartment and would highly recommend it. The place and location is glorious and we will definitely be back !!! Val is just so so helpful and a very personal and processional contact. One thing we would recommend is some blinds in Apartment 4 living room area to give some privacy from people walking by
We had our friends come visit so decided a stay at Arran shores was a must We booked the dog friendly shorefront property 1. The separate entrance made it so easy for letting the dog out when needed also the downstairs bathroom was ideal for washing off any muddy paws after enjoying walks along the front Both bedrooms are stunning and set up so well, everyone loved their stay. The large dining table was perfect for an evening enjoying drinks and playing board games while using the large tv for music. The bar section is such a cool addition with the wine chiller and a selection of glasse...more
Both my son and I really enjoyed our stay and were treated to most comfortable pleasant and peaceful surroundings. The accommodation was 5 star and would be in my top 5 of best places I have holidayed in. Any small queries were responded too in a very efficient and friendly way. I would definitely recommend to my friends.
I recently spent an amazing weekend at Arran Shores. The accommodation is fantastic and finished to a high standard, with every detail carefully considered in the design of these apartments. The location is perfect, offering plenty of parking and just a few minutes' walk from the bus stop if you're arriving from Brodick. The rooms are spacious and equipped with all the amenities you need for a weekend getaway. There's plenty of space to relax, and it's just a short walk to local bars and hotels for food and drinks. Every aspect of the apartment has been thoughtfully designed, and nothing w...more
Well what can I say, this accommodation has blown me away once again, fortunate to have stayed before in apartment 8, which in its self is stunning, this suite was on another level, the touches, the luxurious feel and then you’ve got they views. I’ve stayed in a lot of the “luxury” places on the island and for me personally this takes top spot. A big shout out to Val as well as nothing is too much trouble and goes above and beyond to make your stay as perfect as it can be. A truly beautiful place and I can’t wait to come back
Our stay at #11 was nothing short of incredible. We felt like we were stepping into a penthouse in Beverly Hills according to our 11 year old son! Everything was immaculate and the beds were so comfortable for our 3 night stay. The welcome gifts were just gorgeous and everything was so well thought out. The only thing I would say is there was no kettle or microwave. No biggie but I would have preferred those on hand. Apart from that we really could not fault a thing. Thank you Val & the Arran Shores team x
We loved our time in Arran Shores - our party was a family group ages 4 - 68 and we had all we needed to settle in for a great week away. The weather was very cooperative which was fabulous and enhanced the views from our apartment. There were two aspects which would have made it perfect: one of our party found the bed too firm and thought a mattress topper would have made it more luxurious. We were concerned that the youngest in our party could have wandered out of the front door in the night (looking for mummy) and there was no internal locking mechanism but a suitcase in front of the door ...more
Returned to Arran shores again, this time with my partner and our dog. Was so happy to find out that there’s now a few apartments that are dog friendly. This time we stayed in apartment 2, beautifully fitted out with luxurious furnishings and everything we needed for a weeks stay with lovely touches including Arran aromatics toiletries. Check in & out was seamless. Situated on shore road overlooking the holy isle it’s so peaceful & tranquil, only a 5min walk to the pier, couple of shops, bar’s & restaurants, it’s a perfect location. Will definitely be returning
Arran shores is beautiful & stylish accommodation in a great location. The whole apartment was spotless, it’s the cleanest place that I’ve ever stayed. I loved the modern feel , and also appreciated the thorough instruction manual for all of the appliances.Everything has been thought of and provided, including the little things like kitchen roll, foil and kitchen cleaning spray, this is a nice touch , creating a homely feel. The whole place is exceptionally well maintained. The manager Val is an absolute treasure, any questions before arrival were always answered quickly and if you needed an...more
We had a wonderful stay at Arran Shores. Pulling into the lit up church at dusk was a wonderful way to arrive. Opposite the converted church is an uninterrupted view of the Holy Isle. The street the property is located on has some beautiful places surrounding it and is well worth a walk. The pub, The Drift Inn, is a short walk away and with an open fire, great vista and food, I’d highly recommend a visit. We stayed in the 3-bedroom apartment which was well appointed and comfortable. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and the downstairs area has a good kitchen and comfortable lounge area. There ...more
Arran Shores provides top-notch holiday apartments in a perfect location on the island. The property is just off the main road through the attractive village of Lamlash but within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. A gorgeous, tranquil prospect of Holy Island is on the doorstep. Everything in the apartment is brand new and immaculate. Thank you to all involved in creating this special development and retaining one of Arran's historic buildings.
