we were a group of 28 ladies celebrating some big birthdays with 0's in them. We had an amazing time, the photos actually don't do justice to the venue and the house. Everything is there for you, nothing missing. We could not fault a thing.
I would highly recommend this property for your stay in Bournemouth, location was fab, the house spacious, clean, everyone had their own room of which all was comfortable and homely. The host Steph was accommodating and understanding. Great stay perfect for a weekend away with friends. I would book this property again. House Parties also have been accommodating and easy to use. Thank you.
This property is in an ideal walking location for Edinburgh centre and two minutes walk from a small Sainsburys and Tescos. The house is very comfortable and clean with little extras supplied like tea and coffee. There are two lovely bathrooms, and a warm and cosy living area and kitchen with mod cons.
This was a great location in Edinburgh to use as a base for a vacation and for family visits. The house is very comfortable, well equipped and is located beautifully to get wherever you need to go whether it be on foot or by bus or whatever. We were made to feel welcome immediately and that just set the tone for a terrific visit to Edinburgh in general and Stockbridge in particular. The electronic information guide that was provided when the booking was completed was absolutely first class and very, very helpful. This is a great property.
Sarah and Gary were the perfect hosts, very laid back, didn't interfere at all and were incredibly helpful when called upon. The house itself was undescribable, in a good way. So many interesting rooms, each with it's own unique theme or character. We had planned to leave and go off and do other things at some point over the weekend that we stayed, but there was enough to keep us occupied (pool, table tennis, croquet, trampoline etc.) that we ended up only leaving to restock from the small shop nearby. Top marks all round, no complaints whatsoever.
Circus Mews is the perfect place to stay in Edinburgh. The other rave reviews are totally justified. We also felt that it couldn’t have been better. My son and I spent four days there very comfortably, after hiking in the Highlands. The apartment could easily handle four adults or a family of four. There are two spacious bedrooms, each with twin beds that can be pushed together to be king-sized. The location is ideal, on a picturesque street in New Town, only ten minutes from Princes Street (Waverly Station, Scott Monument, National Gallery, etc.). Lovely Stockbridge is literally around...more
I stayed at Stuckgowan along with 20 family and friends. We were all there as a surprise for my husband's sixtieth birthday,we had a fantastic three days and everyone loved the house and we really didn't want to leave .The children had a great time they loved the cinema and the hot tub. The only complaint I have is that there was only one dishwasher working and as you can imagine with 21 of us that's a lot of dishes!!.We all want to return so thank you for providing such a beautiful house for our stay .
Everything about this break was perfect. The location is stunning, as is the general condition of the house. We were blown away by the size of the place - so many magnificent rooms with so much space that our party of 19 never felt like we were getting in each other's way. There was a lovely, cozy TV room, as well as two other very large spaces to play board games, etc. The swimming pool was excellent too. The standard of furnishing, as well as the quality of the appliances, etc. was very impressive for a self-catering property. We are already planning our next trip.
We have had an amazing weekend full of giggles with friends. It was perfect for us!! Thank you! X
A group of us travelled to Edinburgh to celebrate a significant birthday so we were looking for somewhere to accommodate as many of us as possible and Cumberland Mews fit the bill perfectly. The accommodation comfortably sleeps and houses 9 people with plenty of room for everyone - even the sofa beds were impressive. The location is perfect for the new town with plenty of restaurants and pubs within walking distance. It is a bit further to the old town area of the city but still within a walk. The property was immaculate with everything you need for any type of stay provided. The welcome guid...more
The house is really great, spacious and with excellent facilities. The location is not clear from the main picture but it's right in the middle of Oban. I'd highly recommend it.
Stukkdarach was fantastic, we were a group of 10 and the house had more than enough space for all of us. We received a very warm welcome from Michelle who showed us around. Every room was furnished to a very high standard and very well equipped. The private garden with hot tub was lovely. Would highly recommend and would gladly visit again.
We were unsure of what to expect as photos can flatter places, but Blaven was everything it promised and more. Even with 11 adults over three generations, there was space and comfort and privacy for everyone. All the bedrooms and beds were comfortable and the main en suite was stunning. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and the Nespresso machine was much appreciated. We loved the convenience of the two utility rooms. I had thought such a big house might be cold but it was cosy from the minute we arrived. The log fire was a bonus. Great birthday holiday! Would definitely recomm...more
Perfect place to hold a hen weekend or even a weekend away with family, I would definitely recommend this to others. It really is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. The train line is very close (as we were already advised) but it really wasn't an issue as you just get used too it and it is literally for a matter of seconds. All the rooms were perfectly presented and I will definitely keep in mind for other get togethers
Chimney Corner is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. Our group had a fantastic time and would recommend highly to anyone
My 4 sisters and myself needed a nice place to stay in York so we could all be together under one roof and catch up with family. Baille Hill House looked like the ideal place when we looked on line, and it did not disappoint. It was very clean and spacious. It sleeps 10 but as there was only 5 of us we all had our own bedroom. It was like a home from home everything you might need was there. It was very close to the river the town centre and shops. We will definitely be returning.
We spent a weekend at this amazing house celebrating a Hen Do! From start to Finish this was the ideal location. Sam (host) and Jo (owner) attended to our every query efficiently before arrival and made sure that all our requests were fulfilled. As host for the weekend, Sam arranged the food and housekeeping for the weekend - service cannot be faulted. Food was delicious and her attention to details was impeccable. Hen package was excellent value for £!
We stayed here for a Hen party, 21 girls ranging from ages 27- 60. I can tell you one thing the photo's of this house do not do it justice!!! Every room is absolutely stunning with tonnes of character and some of the views are to die for! It also has a disco dining room and cinema screen in the living room - need I say more? The mansion/castle house catered to all of our needs whilst we celebrated my best friends Hen, over a long weekend. Can't recommend the house enough! x
Great location just a few minutes walk to the minster and the city of York centre. Large beautifully clean holiday home with everything you need to make a perfect stay away from home. Highly recommended at a good price. This was our 4 year with this company.
The house is amazing and the location the best in Elie! The beds are extremely comfortable and the decoration and facilities excellent. You will not be disappointed! Wish we could have stayed longer and we were also lucky with great weather! Would love to go back in the summer so can use the garden.
Stunning house and location with spectacular views. Access at low tide has to be accepted as part of the experience. It is a short walk to the local pub and cafe. If additional parking required in the village some planning needed re carrying cases to the property. Eye masks needed for those sleeping in the attic room as three roof lights have no blinds.
What a fantastic house for a hen weekend! The house was a perfect size with a great lounge and dining room space. All of the bedrooms were clean and comfortable and really spacious! Slight negative was that the wifi wasn't very strong. The location was great - just a 15 minute walk into the centre of York. Overall, very good value for money and a very memorable stay!
The house itself is lovely and we enjoyed the space and facilities such as the hot tub and games room. The rooms were nicely decorated and spacious, the kitchen well-equipped. We also appreciated the gesture of the complimentary Prosecco. However I have scored 'OK' rather than good or excellent on account of a number of niggles, as follows: Firstly the bathrooms were only patchily equipped with toilet rolls and soap so upon arrival we had to go out and purchase these items - which we had anticipated would be provided as standard in a property of this calibre - ourselves. Overall the clean...more
