Beautifully maintained and equipped first floor apartment with plenty of parking spaces on the doorstep. Granddaughter was most impressed with the size of the television screen. Definitely didn't need my glasses on. Well equiped kitchen which meant we didn't miss anything from home. The on site shop supplies essentials but don't rely on it for fresh fruit and vegetables.

We had fun creating memories. We loved the walk across the beach to share our bucket full of ice cream at The Beach Cafe. . No we couldn't eat it all but we came away with another bucket for the beach and returned the next day for a full English breakfast . It's a steep climb to get to the beach but there's plenty of space and it's clean.

Granddaughter loved the park and if you go around 7 we found there were plenty of children to play with. Woldies Lavender Farm is close by and they've got an amazing sandpit with a constant supply of water for dam making.

The apartment was furnished and decorated to a very high spec with lots of tech gadgets. Cooling fans in all the rooms and plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances of good quality.
The bed which was high end with a Tempur mattress was firm. It might suit some guests but for us it was too firm. A few too many air fresheners! We are sorry to say that the sofas weren’t comfy in particular the sofa bed again too firm even though we appreciated they were of a high standard being Italian leather.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. The comfort of beds and sofas are always down to personal preference, and despite providing high-quality furniture, it isn’t always to everyone’s personal preference. The Tempur mattress is designed to be firm when you first lay on it, however the mattress then softens as it moulds around your body to provide support. Like everything in the apartment, the sofas are brand new, and they will soften over time with usage as the leather relaxes.

This is my second stay at The Bay, the first being a house accommodation so I was apprehensive about an apartment set up, it was revealed to be very spacious and lovely everything being on one level with my 5 year old grandson in tow. The apartment is furnished and fitted with high standard quality items and the owners should be very proud with the newly refurbished Paws And Relax, it’s beautiful !

It’s short of nothing, and even kitchen appliances were easy to navigate with lots of information available to not have you pouring over manuals and instructions.

If I have anything at all that could be ‘disappointing’ and this is probably not anything determined by the owners is the entry time to the property, 4pm seems to be pushing the actual start of your holiday later and later - understanding that accommodation needs to be turned around for new visitors, but having to still leave by 10am leaves 6 hours for doing this and I feel there may still be some ‘Covid’ practises that could be used as the reason for this but it’s biting into the holiday when you only there for a few nights and your first night is arrive, unpack, eat, bed.

Maybe something the management company set but thought I’d mention it was the only downside to what was a lovely stay

We are really proud of how the refurbished apartment has turned out, and we are pleased that guests appreciate the improvements we have made and the quality of the furnishings and equipment. The arrival and departure times are set by Anchor Bay Holidays that manage our apartment, however these times are consistent amongst other furnished holiday lets and hotels as the cleaning teams often have more than one property to clean on change over days. That said, Anchor Bay Holidays offer an option to request early arrival and late checkout, and the team at Anchor Bay Holidays are really accommodating, therefore please get in touch with them if you decide to book again, as they will always try and accommodate guest requests wherever possible. This is probably the best equipped apartment we have stayed in. Everything had been thought of.
