Thank you for our fabulous break in the Kennelman. The garden is a beautiful place to sit if you just want a lazy day with a book. Alternatively, the location is great for travelling to lots of lovely places (Bamburgh, with a walk along the beach to Seahouses for fish and chips/ Cragside (NT) for great walks around the estate / Alnwick (castle or gardens and there's a fab second hand book shop in the town centre). I had a wonderful experience staying here. The accommodation was beautifully presented—clean, cosy, and thoughtfully decorated, with attention to detail that made it feel both welcoming and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable, and everything I needed for a relaxing stay was provided. The location was ideal, offering a peaceful atmosphere and the most beautiful views while still being convenient for exploring the surrounding area with a lovely pub at the end of the road. Stayed here for a family get together. Beautiful location with outstanding views. Accommodation was spotlessly clean upon arrival. Had everything we needed in the kitchen area. Beds really comfortable with really top quality bedding. Lovely pub and cafe a short walk away. Richard went out of his way beforehand hand to ensure that everything was set up for our arrival. Will be returning in the summer and I would not stay anywhere else in the area now.
You cannot fail to be impressed by the location of this cottage: the cheviots, the village and dark skies to start with and then its closeness to Alnwick Castle, the coastline and Scotland which is an added bonus. The cottage has everything you could wish for to a very high standard, in fact I would live there!
