We stayed here over Christmas when visiting our son so we regularly come to this area and we were not disappointed. The accommodation was immaculate and surpassed expectation- this is a classy venue and typical of Northumberland vibe! Rural, peaceful and warm and welcoming. Host was accommodating, responsive and friendly - even over Christmas he attended to our needs and even decorated the cottage for Christmas. I’m loathed to give too good a review as it’s so close to our family we need availability on a regular basis- it’s a perfect retreat in the country with a touch of elegance.
The accommodation was exactly as described in the listing. Perfectly located; fabulously comfortable beds; amazing views; well equipped kitchen; pleasant decor and furnishings. And Richard was incredibly attentive and helpful. Highly recommended!!
Stayed here for a family get together. Beautiful location with outstanding views. Accommodation was spotlessly clean upon arrival. Had everything we needed in the kitchen area. Beds really comfortable with really top quality bedding. Lovely pub and cafe a short walk away. Richard went out of his way beforehand hand to ensure that everything was set up for our arrival. Will be returning in the summer and I would not stay anywhere else in the area now.
Well located to visit Nortumbrian countryside and coast. Well planned accommodation with thoughtful and special touches. Restful and secluded position easily accessible from main road but distant from traffic noise. Village pub, restaurant and shop all within ten minutes walk. Extensive grounds for relaxation or play. Personal attention from property owners.
