I was really pleased to find this little gem of a place. It's really difficult to find accessible accommodation for just two people that is also bright, modern and well equipped. This was perfect for us both. The views and outdoor seating area were lovely. We ordered flowers and hadn't realised they would be homegrown - they were beautiful! We were warned in advance that there was building work on a new cottage next door but it didn't disturb us in the slightest. The accommodation is also in a beautiful area that we hadn't fully appreciated before. A list of accessible places to visit was sent to us in advance and this was very useful as this can take a lot of time to research. We managed to fill our 6 day stay easily with plenty more to do for any future visits. Another useful touch was being able to book the exact days we wanted rather than being tied to certain start and end days.

The Tack Room is very comfortable, well-equipped, and restful. After a day at work, it is exactly what I need to feel relaxed and re-energised. This is a repeat stay for me and I’ve very happy to be returning. As the days are longer now, it’s great to see the beautiful countryside that The Tack Room is located in. As ever, thank you for letting me stay and for your care and attention during my visit.

The Tack Room is a cosy comfortable cottage. Clean and welcoming. It has all you need for self catering. The welcome bag of goodies is nice to start off the holiday the home made bread is delicious so are the fresh farm eggs the views are wonderful and and the cows and calves in the field are entertaining to watch we had a very relaxing time here in the peaceful village thank you so much

Always dubious about finding 'new cottages' but the tack room was amazing. Comfortable and clean and very airy too.
I'd definately tell people to go here.

The Tack Room is a great place to stay - it is comfortable, well equipped and set in beautiful surroundings. I stayed for a business trip and it was brilliant to come back to somewhere spotlessly clean, peaceful and relaxing at the end of a busy day. Sarah and her team have created somewhere really special that I would be very happy to return to and recommend. I appreciate all the thought and work that has gone into making staying at The Tack Room such a good experience.

Relaxing 10 nights in the Tack Room. Weather a bit rough but blew away the cobwebs. Thanks Sue for the goodies bag and the excellent fillet steak (so tender) and eggs. Thanks Sarah and all the team at Castle Chase. See you in May at the Stables.

Very pleasant stay at the Tack Room with our dog Milly. Beautiful view over the fields with cows and their young. Short drive to Uppingham and Rutland Water. Comfortable accommodation and extremely well equipped. Would recommend the Tack Room .

Super accommodation - just perfect for what we wanted/needed. Great location- peaceful, accessible and an excellent base for everything Rutland has to offer. The tack room was comfortable and spacious- even with two little people toddling about in it! We really appreciated the extra touches such as the freshly baked bread, milk and butter and the additional baby goods which we know were supplied just for us as Sarah knew we were bringing our 16 month old twins with us. We would love to come back in the future - perhaps with the rest of the family if we can hire both parts of your fantastic accommodation.
