The Coachman’s Bothy is a spacious, traditionally decorated, very comfortable flat, perfect for one or two couples ( The beds and quality of bedding is best hotel standard)! The location is absolutely beautiful, looking out on the islands of Lismore and beyond. A little track leads down to a private pebble beach, perfect for the dog. Footpaths lead onto the village, quay, and two very good restaurants that also serve as pubs and cafes. Very good local artisan shop (also a cafe), all within walking distance! And don’t miss the nearby ‘The Old Inn’ steak restaurant.
Many beautiful walks and ever changing scenery. We genuinely didn’t want to leave. Very friendly hosts. All kept very well and we can’t wait to return.

This is just a great part of Argyll to stay - peace and quiet if you want it or plenty of things to do if you prefer. We love the place!

Stayed in coachmans bothy for 1 week and felt like home by end of our stay. Very well equipped and high bathroom products. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. Ryan and Danielle who looked after the property were especially welcoming and friendly. Great views of the sea and mountains.

Our family, who lives in Port Appin, found these incredible properties for us and they couldn’t have been more perfect! We had the cottage and the apartment and we had more than enough room for our two families, totaling eight people. Comfortable rooms, kitchen equipped with everything you could need and the washer/dryer was a plus. Beautiful and peaceful setting - just perfect!
