Our distinctive double roundhouses offer all the charm and twice the space, making them ideal for a family of four.

Having recently been fully refurbished to a high speck standard, the Double Roundhouses comprise two round areas joined by a hallway. One half contains 2 bedrooms; one double and one with twin beds, with flat screen TV’s. The other half contains a lounge/kitchen diner and bathroom, comprising of a large walk in shower, toilet and basin.

The comfortable lounge includes a flat screen TV, 2 sofas, while the kitchen diner is fully equipped with electric oven, hob, microwave and fridge freezer.

So faced with a Christmas in a hotel (long story) we decided to book a double roundhouse with my sister & partner who was also at a loose end re Christmas, the single roundhouses have long been our secret hideaway we have stayed in one many times in our 40 + years together, the double roundhouse didn't dissapoint, more spaceiouse than we'd expected, spotlessly clean, lovely pub ( the fishermans rest) 5 mins walk away, great food & beer on xmas eve, we stayed three nights and really enjoyed our stay, we will definataly be back :)

Had a weekend stay with my 2 teenage daughters. Had seen the round houses before & had always wanted to stay so booked as it was my daughters birthday.
Loved the uniqueness of it, had everything we needed, was clean & modern inside, comfy beds, comfy sofas.
Shower water pressure a little low but other than that we had a fab stay.
Village has amenities like a shop, pub & fish and chip shop, even out of season we had a wonderful time. Beach close by for a walk.

Lovely peaceful location with direct access to the sand dunes and beach . The Roundhouse was so pretty and unusual. Nice grounds with mature trees, lots of open green space .
The swimming pool was deserted, lovely for a private swim and a real sun trap.

We had a great time, total unwind , we couldn't believe how lovely it was inside. everything you could want for self catering. Clean and a great shower , once you get the hang of it. Only the bed seemed hard for us , but that's an individual choice.
Would definitely recommend coming here. We didn't have any dogs and the place smelt fresh and airy. The local pub was worth a visit also.

We have been visiting for over 20 years! Only negative was the shower head and power and the oven shorted out. Other than that it was a perfect get away as always.

The roundhouse was enchanting, our 4 year old granddaughter called it a fairy cottage because that is what it looked like. It was immaculate inside and out and had everything you could possibly want for a very comfortable stay. The roundhouse had heating in all rooms, for which we were very grateful as the weather was quite cold during our stay. The Hermanus complex is situated a short walk from the beach across the dunes of the very picturesque Winterton valley. We thought that our roundhouse was extremely good value for money and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Long weekend break - 19 of us stayed across 6 properties. We used all of the facilities that were open (sadly post the fire it’s not all totally back up and running), including the swimming pool! Fantastic Sunday roast in the restaurant.

A return visit to one of our favourite places. Always peaceful, relaxing and we leave feeling rested. The roundhouses are comfortable, warm, and well equipped. Seeing deer, pheasants, squirrels from our windows was lovely. Thank you once again for a lovely weekend.

This particular accommodation is isolated from others which means it is more private and comfortable. It is also near the exit. There is a parking space for 1 vehicle which is perfect. The house is spacious enough for 4 people and most things you need are all there. The house looks nice especially when the sun sets behind it, perfect for sunset photos.

The accommodation was in very good condition & well presented & clean. It was in a more private spot & when we figured out how to find it, it made for an enjoyable stay.

The VFM score would improve if the following would be changed: earlier check in time, later check out time (9:30 is too early) & better on-site facilities (the restaurant was closed).

We were also surprised to find about 50/60 ants in the kitchen in February when we woke up. They'd been attracted in by a jar of honey left out on the counter. We removed everything attractive to them but the next morning there were more ants again. Not a major issue but would obviously rather not have them.

This was a lovely spot for a winter break. The accommodation was perfect, with everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean and I only gave it 4 out of 5 because the windows needed cleaning,
Customer service is marked down only because of the early check out! 9.30 a.m is far too early when leaving a self catering unit.

Return at least once a year, lovely accommodation beautiful surroundings (spring for the bluebells, winter for the seals and summer for the beauty and beach) Round House is a must and very modern with onsite entertainment and food in the summer season, The Fisherman's Return Pub just a few minuets away for a large pub meal and drink. The area is full of unspoiled beaches and Norfolk Broads with plenty of places to visit.
A mixture of dog friendly and no pet accommodation and beaches/sand dunes that dogs love.

We had a wonderful stay in the double roundhouse. It was absolutely spotless on arrival. Has everything we needed for our short stay. Beds were comfy too
The receptionists were friendly and helpful on arrival.

A really restful unique family break in a beautiful roundhouse which was well equipped and comfortable with access to an outdoor pool. Kids loved it and all on the edge of winterton beach.

Visited with young family. Great location. Lovely village. Close to beach. Accommodation was modern and very clean. Children loved it. Roundhouses are brilliant.

Only criticism is cleanliness of common areas. Children's play area dirty and covered in cobwebs, swimming pool had a lot of dead insects and debris floating on top. Some of the site is shabby/derelict but looks like it’s being renovated.

Overall great stay and would definitely recommend and return.
