We needed a temporary base in New Galloway, and Stroan ticked all our boxes. We did ask for the beds to be configured as twins, but in the end doubles were fine. We could have done with more dishwasher tablets, but apart from that, 10/10. We loved it. Well done!
We've stayed in Stroan before, but this was our first time in Skerrow. The property is in theory very nice and was originally fitted out to a high standard. Unfortunately, there are too many downsides, and we won't be coming back. Communications: emails to [email protected] do not work - they bounce back. Privacy: the gardener entered the property without permission and started mowing the lawn with a noisy and smelly petrol mower for over an hour, right in the middle of a sunny Saturday afternoon.
