Couples will delight in this superb one bedroom first floor apartment, with great views and in a great location. A real gem of a property in the heart of the Lakes.

Comfortable accommodation in an excellent location. Only criticism is that the toilet seat needs replacing as it is stained underneath and doesn’t meet the standard of the rest of the apartment.

A lovely little place to stay in the heart of Bowness-on-Windermere. In my opinion more could be made of Annie's view's history. Take down the generic art work of a New York USA scene in the lounge. Put up prints of the old photographs from the cottage's history as illustrated in the books supplied on the bookcase. Or some pictures up that are linked to the area.
The cottage had great facilities. The shower cubicle needed a good clean as the tiles were full of mould & grime. Just lacked the attention it should deserve.

Thank you for the review, Catherine. Whilst pleased you found it a lovely place to stay and indeed a great location, we were sorry to hear there was a cleaning issue. Given that it is most unusual to receive such comments for Annie’s View, we would like to think a one off, although we shall of course speak with the housekeeper responsible and advise the owners of all you have said – including your suggestions for the apartment. Thank you for letting us know and please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. It is worth noting that had we been made aware at the time, we would have gladly arranged for the cleaner to return and put right any issues for you. We are just a phone call away and we want all guests to have a great stay in the Lake District. On a more positive note, we are pleased that you would recommend to others, thank you.

The hill walking up to Annie’s view a little steep four or 5 times a day . But keeps you fit. Apart from that very handy location.

With fabulous views from the apartment and a short walk to Bowness-on-Windermere, the location is perfect for a break in the Lakes.
