A cosy apartment, with high ceilings and huge windows, a kingsize bedroom and compact bathroom. A fully equipped kitchen with an open plan dining and living area with a comfortable sofa and co-ordinating soft furnishings and lighting.

This apartment provides a peaceful resting place in a superb central location for exploring Hexham and Northumberland with excellent public transport links meaning it’s also a great base for those who wish to explore the region without a car.

The apartment shares it’s entrance with Apartment One meaning they can be hired together to create additional space for larger families.

The apartment was exactly as described and was a cosy, ideal base for a couple. One small issue, the shower head sliding down was annoying! The welcome pack was a lovely touch and having a safe parking place near by was a major plus.

A warm and cosy apartment. Comfortable bed with good quality bed linen and towels. We appreciated the welcome pack on anrrival. Excellent choice of restaurants within walking distance.

I have stayed a number of times in various apartments in Hexham House and i cannot recommend them highly enough. They are clean, comfortable, well equipped, cosy and the welcome gift, provided by Sam and Vicky, is wonderful. I always call Hexham House my home from home as I feel so comfortable and relaxed when I stay there. Many thanks to Sam and Vicky as always.

We visited Hexham House Apartments for 2 nights. Firstly the communication prior to our visit was excellent with full details of how to gain access, facilities and nearby parking etc. We were able to access the apartment early and were delighted to find it immaculate, fully equipped with all essentials including a Christmas Tree which was a lovely touch. Our welcome pack included, local tea, coffee and biscuits with fresh milk and prosecco in the fridge. Beautiful linen, towels and toiletries were included. The apartment is spacious enough for two with a very comfortable king size bed, feather duvet and powerful shower.
The apartment is perfectly situated on the doorstep of the Abbey, and the market place in the next street. Hexham is beautiful with lots of shops bars and restaurants to explore. We also caught the bus to Corbridge another beautiful town, just minutes away.
Sam and Vicky were perfect hosts, checking we had settled in well and providing lots of information about the local area. We had a wonderful stay and we are already planning our next visit. Very highly recommended.

Fabulous apartment well equipped and very comfortable. Stayed there to attend a wedding and recommend a visit to the area and as a place to stay.

We've stayed in one of this company's bigger apartments with a view of abbey before and absolutely loved it (apart from a rather hard sofa - we're avid slothful readers) and knew this would be very different as it let straight onto the road. But it was very comfortable and warm, the usual thoughtful details, and the location is good for visiting the town - the road is very busy and the sitting room thus subject to traffic noise but the bedroom at the back is quiet and peaceful.

We have stayed in 2 other Wooden Star homes, so knew to expect clean accommodation, high quality bedding and towels and attention to detail. This apartment did not disappoint! We had a very cosy 3 nights in the lovely town of Hexham with very convenient car parking and access to the town, restaurants and supermarkets. We would highly recommend it to other couples visiting Hexham. We look forward to more Wooden Star cottages coming on board - perhaps Rothbury??? (a not so subtle hint for Sam and Vicky)

I can’t recommend a stay in the Hexham house apartments enough - great value for money, in an amazing location and gorgeous apartment. Everything was spotless, the bed was so comfy and there was a lovely little welcome pack which was greatly appreciated.

We were happy with our stay in this small but well equipped apartment adjacent to the beautiful Abbey and park. Convenient location for exploring Hexham and the surrounding area. Nice local pubs and eating places for every budget. Very comfy bed to return to at the end of the day!

We had three nights at Hexham House, which was an ideal base for Hadrians Wall area and short walking distance of the town centre. The accommodation had everything required and the Prosecco was a nice touch! Very clean, nice bedding and well equipped kitchen. Would recommend and hope to come back.

Very comfortable apartment, has everything you need for a self catering stay. Immaculate in cleanliness and in standard of decor and furnishings.
Secure door entry systems, felt safe, very quiet.
Situated in beautiful surroundings, nice walks, restaurants.shops.
Safe no hassle allocated parking with parking permit provided.
Little welcome bag lovely touch and appreciated.

Excellent location and parking arrangements which is a bonus in Hexham. Good communications from owners prior to arrival and lovely welcome pack. Will book again.

Wonderful location easy reach of shops & restaurants. Comfortable bed, lovely to have a welcome pack.only downsides were that the shaver point is not usable as abuts the shower screen & the shower head slides down the upright whilst in use!! Apart from those issues our stay was enjoyable

We needed to stay an extra night as our car broke down and Hexham House could not have been more helpful. Apartment 2 is small but comfortable and with easy access to apartment 1 if you have friends or family staying there. Thank you for your help.

A really perfect location right next to the centre of Hexham, pubs, restaurants and shops just a short walk away. Hexham Abbey, just next door, is nearly a whole days visit itself, so much to see. We arrived at apartment 2 to find a welcome pack of local specialities and carparking in the abbey car park arranged. A well fitted out compact apartment. Sam from Wooden Star went out of her way to be helpful from booking to arrival, any questions and upon leaving, so a big thankyou.
