A perfect family apartment with a king size master bedroom and further double bedroom both of which have beautiful rear facing views towards Hexham Abbey. The compact bathroom has a corner walk in shower and heated towel rail and the fully equipped kitchen and dining area seats four. There are many windows in the bright living space with comfortable sofas and co-ordinating soft furnishings and lighting.

This apartment provides a peaceful resting place in a superb central location for exploring Hexham and Northumberland with excellent public transport links meaning it’s also a great base for those who wish to explore the region without a car.

Access to Apartment Three is via the main Hexham House Apartments entrance and has one flight of stairs and two sets of smaller steps to it’s front door.

The apartment was warm, clean and the beds were super comfortable. We enjoyed the lovely view of the park covered in frost and the kind welcome pack.
The location is very handy for local amenities and the management were very helpful. Would happily return.

We booked Apartments 1, 2 and 3 for 3 nights for ourselves and extended family for a Hexham wedding. All 3 properties were spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The location and parking spaces were perfectly positioned to enjoy Hexham. An ideal place to stay. Would definitely recommend and would hope to stay there again.

We stayed in Apartment 3 for 4 nights and immediately felt at home. Vicky kindly picked us up at the station & welcomed us to Hexham. The location couldn't really be better, close to the town Abbey & The Sele. The standard of the accommodation is excellent, tastefully furnished with a high degree of comfort. The views over the grounds from the two bedrooms was delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hexham House. This was my second stay with Wooden Star Cortages and it more than lived up to expectations.

We have enjoyed staying at Hexham house before. The apartment was very clean and well equipped with higher spec equipment. The information provided by Wooden Star Cottages was very clear and well presented.

We spent 10 days in apt 3 Hexham House. Ideally situated in the historic centre of Hexham. Comfortable apartment with a view over the lovely gardens to the rear. The apartment was warm, fairly well equipped with comfortable beds. Ideally sized for 2 or 3 people. Pubs and restaurants close by. 5 minutes walk to Main Street, 10 mins walk to supermarkets, train and bus stations. We did not take a car & did not need one there. Would be happy to go back.



An excellent choice for a Group Booking of various ages with plenty of space for everyone.

We booked Apartment Three at Hexham House together with Apartment One and Two for a family wedding in Hexham.
The Apartments were all so well laid out. My son and his family were in Apartment One. Our friends in Apartment Two and Our daughter, my husband and I in Apartment Three. We were all very happy with the excellent quality of the fixtures and fittings, all very high quality and well equipped. We each had a car so the parking permit for each apartment nearby was an excellent bonus just across the lovely grounds at the rear of the property. The apartments are central to excellent restaurants and shops.
Would certainly stay again.

Lovely welcoming gifts and provisions to start our weekend off
Spotless place with great beds bedding and luxury towels and toiletries

We booked Apartment 3 as one of two apartments for our small family wedding. It is a lovely place to stay. Apartment excellent with very good facilities, location perfect and outlook onto parks and gardens amazing!

We booked several apartments at Hexham House for the same weekend and would do it all again. The apartments are bright, spacious and so comfortable. Situated right in the centre of Hexham and close to all of the amenities you could think of. Really easy to access, with excellent instructions from Sam and Vicky at Wooden Star Cottages. The car parking at Hexham Abbey is so handy and it's easy to get parked. They really have thought of everything and we would definitely book with Wooden Star Cottages again.

Very relaxing apartment in the heart of Hexham with a lovely view over the park. Some delightful foodie gifts on arrival. Sam and Vicky extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Hexham House.

A lovely apartment in an excellent location. All amenities catered for and the welcome pack was a great touch and much appreciated. Only issue was the slight gap in one of the bedroom windows which wouldn't have been an issue if it hadn't been windy and cold but unfortunately being January it was. Other than that a lovely apartment and would definitely stay again.

Lovely property in close walking distance of shops, restaurants. Parking 2 minutes away in Abbey car park. There was a lovely quality welcome pack which was very welcome. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.
