We have stayed at Abbeylands now every October for the last 7 years and we still love it and always go back. It is literally like a home from home with everything you need. It is excellent for larger family gatherings as it has 8 large bedrooms and a very large table for eating up to 16 as well. The kitchen is amazing and the flow of the house is perfect. The garden is amazing too and you can have drinks or eat there in the nicer weather! You honestly couldn't ask for more for a holiday home. It is right on the edge of Alnwick so you can walk into the town to visit the castle and the market as well as the lovely coffee shops, pubs and restaurants. Other Northumberland sites are not far away either. I cannot recommend the house highly enough. We have already booked to go back next year again!
