The location and setting is amazing.
The lodges are of very high spec and has everything you will need from a few days or as long as you want.
Pub on site is amazing and has small but good menu and caters for vegetarians which as we had two in our party was a really nice touch.there are quite a few walks around the park and you will not get bored.
Ambleside 12 miles one way and ullswater twenty the other with some breathtaking scenery.

We stayed at Ewe Lodge for a week in September and enjoyed every minute of it. The Lodge itself was excellent and our dogs loved watching everybody go by on decking whilst we enjoyed the luxury of the hot tub which was very private and kept very clean The only thing which I was disappointed about was that there was no dishwasher. Don't like to wash up when I'm away on holiday.
There is much to see in the surrounding area. We enjoyed hiring a boat and sailing around Lake Windermere. The pub on the site is a great bonus as we could take the dogs in and have a meal. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

What did you enjoy most about your stay?
walking and the hot tub

The hot tub and our day relaxing in it.

Me my wife, my daughter and our 2 dogs spent an amazing week at Ewe View. Very comfortable homely lodge with everything you could possible need and not forgetting a great hot tub. Everywhere in the local area was dog friendly with several decent pubs/restaurants in walking distance. The site itself is well maintained and lovely and peaceful. I wouldn't hesitate in booking to stay at this lodge and site again. Thanks for a great stay the best holiday we've had in a long time!

What did you enjoy most about your stay?
Too much to mention. Lodge was great as was the hottub.

What one experience (e.g attraction, walk, day out) would you recommend for our future guests?
If you like a nice walk with the dogs but at the same time enjoy a decent drink/meal. The triangle walk between the Haybarn, Queens Head and Mortal Man is well worth it.

Walking up the steps to Ewe View it looks very welcoming, inside it is lovely and clean and plenty of space.
We took two seventeen year olds so the bedrooms at either end worked well, giving each other plenty
of space and privacy. The hot tub was lovely, so relaxing, even in the rain well you're wet anyway !!
It is in a beautiful location close to the lakes and some lovely walks.
We really enjoyed our stay at Ewe View and would recommend this lovely lodge to anyone.

The lodge was lovely and clean on arrival plenty of space for a family of 4. Lots of little extras in the lodge such as tea and coffee. We would recommend this lodge to all and hope to return in the future. Thankyou.

Thank you for the review, Glenn and letting us know you had a relaxing break. Ewe View is situated in a very peaceful location and has magnificent views of the fells, just perfect for unwinding. We have passed on your comments about the furnishings to the lodge owners for their reference, although as the owners manage the lodge themselves we are sure they will check the condition as they take great pride in delivering a first class service and pay particular attention to the standard of accommodation. The lodge is beautifully designed and well equipped for guest to relax in comfort, complete with a hot tub - a super addition to any lodge and a real treat after days out exploring the Lakes. We are delighted to hear you will be returning and look forward to welcoming you again in the near future.

We were so pleased with this cabin we have booked it already for next year. It's very modern, clean and the bedrooms being in opposite ends of the cabin, with their own bathrooms was great for us as we took my dad with us, so he had his own privacy as well as us. The outside decking area is a suntrap and we had amazing weather to enjoy the hot tub and decking area all week.

What did you enjoy most about your stay?
The decking area was a suntrap so we managed to stay outdoors alot.

What one experience (e.g attraction, walk, day out) would you recommend for our future guests?
Trip into Kendal is nice for shopping and lunch, also has a lovely garden you can relax in.

Ewe View was the perfect place to stay for our trip to the Lake District. After a 4 month tour of the Falklands I needed somewhere to relax and feel at home after a long days walk with my wife and the dog. The lodge had a distinct cosy feel and was in excellent order inside. Obviously well looked after and cleaned thoroughly between visits. As an added bonus the hot tub was a pleasure to relax in. I found it was great to sooth the muscles after a lengthy walk all day. The staff at Limefitt Park are friendly and helpful, and access to the park from the M6 is decent. All in all a great stay and many thanks for having us - we will be back again.

Loved this lodge - probably one of the best self catering places we've stayed in the Lakes, and we've been coming to the Lake District for nigh on 30 years now. The hot tub is an obvious bonus pleasure. Loved the way the lodge had all the things you have at home, like tin foil/cling film, washing up liquid etc, so didn't need to cart all the household stuff with you. Will definitely book again.

What did you enjoy most about your stay?
Location of lodge in park, and lucky to score with excellent weather.

We have been to limefitt a few times and this was our second visit to ewe view. It's a very spacious lodge which lacks nothing we needed for a very relaxing comfortable week. My husband and I stayed at Ewe View for a dog walking break without our children. It was a blissful weekend, the lodge was beautifully situated, nestled in spectacular views. Loved my morning coffee on the front porch listening to the sheep as the sun came up over the hills. The lodge was very comfortable and clean with everything we needed. It was excellently geared up for the dogs with the secured decking area. The hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a day's exploring, we slept like babies every night. It was our first time visiting the lake district and we are so looking forward to visiting again. I have already recommended our holiday to family and friends.

We didnt want to leave we enjoyed our stay so much. The park is immaculate and was quiet when we visited. The hot tub for us, and decking with secure gate for the dogs is absolutely brilliant. The only tiny teeny thing is that we didnt find the sofa too comfortable for lounging on watching films but that hasnt in any way deterred us from booking again.

We visited Limefitt Park to celebrate my husbands 30th birthday and took our dog with us. We had the best time. The cabin was so clean when we arrived and was equiped with so many things we did not expect. The hand held dyson was a brilliant addition with having the dog there. The hot tub was so clean and temp was just right! The park itself was clean and tidy and was brilliant having the dog field to let him off the lead and have a run around! We will definitely be back...already planning!

We stayed at Ewe View for a week and it was one of the best holidays we have had for a long time. Upon arrival we very happy with how clean the lodge was. It is very well equipped including towels for the hot tub and plenty of DVD's to keep our 5 year old girl very happy. The hot tub was fantastic great for relaxing after a day out. All in all a very comfortable lodge. The balcony is very large with a great view. Plenty of room for parking our estate car.
Limefitt park is very nice. The staff we had contact with were all very nice and friendly. A great little park to keep the kids happy. The Haybarn is nice for a few drinks. The staff even came and gave my daughter some play bricks/blocks to keep her amused.
A Fantastic lodge on a fantastic park. We are sorting out our holidays at work so we can return for another great holiday!!

We stayed at this cabin for 4 nights over Xmas and was very impressed. This was our first stay, our daughter recommended Limefitt to us as she has stayed at the site before. The cabin itself was excellent, it had everything you could want. It was very clean and very welcoming. The hot tub was lovely and hot, the Christmas tree was lovely and the welcome pack left for us was a very kind gesture. The onsite pub was friendly and prices not bad at all. We would definitely stay here again. My daughter booked this for us so can't comment on the booking process with Lakedistrict holidays myself but she said all was good with excellent customer service.
Looking forward to booking again very soon.

What did you enjoy most about your stay?
Xmas time with family.

What one experience (e.g attraction, walk, day out) would you recommend for our future guests?
Bowness and Ambleside were great little places to have a browse around the shops and a bite to eat.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed on Limefitt Park. The park is lovely and picturesque, especially in the Autumn, with a lovely 4/5 mile walk from the pub at the top of the park.

I would not eat at the pub on the site anymore, we thought it was rather dirty, tables were very sticky even after we asked the waitress to clean them! The barmaid was coughing heavily as she was serving drinks behind the bar, which put me off having another drink!

The lodge itself was lovely, however, we did stay in Lakeland View the year before, it was a leather suite which we did not like so looked for a lodge with a fabric sofa/suite which the photographs on the site showed, but when we got there, again a leather suite! I think the photographs need to be updated on the site. It also states in the booklet in the lodge that you can stay in the hot tub until 10pm at the latest, and we had a visit from the site manager to tell us we should not have been in as it was after 9pm, but not yet 10pm! This also needs to be clarified.

The lodge was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay, very warm and comfortable, my only very small gripe was the tea towels which were left to use had an awful smell, like they had been used to wipe milk up as it was a very stale milk smell! A small gripe only. Other than that we had a wonderful stay.

We will come again next year but plan to go to another site nearer Windermere town centre.

What did you enjoy most about your stay?
Hot tub, lovely park.

What one experience (e.g attraction, walk, day out) would you recommend for our future guests?
The walk from the Haybarn pub.

Thank you for reviewing your recent stay at Ewe View, Alison. The park is indeed in a super setting, as commented it is very picturesque especially in the Autumn months. For this reason we were pleased that you chose to return for a second visit, although disappointed on hearing there were a few things not quite right for you this time. This lodge is looked after by the owners and usually receives such positive comments with a higher than average rating based on previous guests experience. We are sorry that on this occasion you felt let down and we will pass on your comments to the lodge owners and the park management for their reference. With regard to the fabric sofa the owners recently had it replaced with new leather sofas and we were unaware at the time of this improvement. Thank you for letting us know and we shall update the website accordingly – please accept our apologies. With reference to the hot tub the rules are set by the Park which state it can be used between the hours of 8am -10pm. We have not been told any different although we will contact the Park to clarify the rules. Once again our apologies for any inconvenience caused and we will make sure this is resolved promptly for the benefit of future guests. We were sorry to hear of your experience of the The Haybarn Pub and although it is something outside of our control we have been informed that it is now under new management, as from last week! We are confident that there will be a significant improvement in all areas and are sure that should you choose to return you will be happy with the quality of food and standard of service. The lodge is ideal for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, luxury accommodation in the beautiful Lake District and with a private hot tub. Where better to be? Very kind of you to comment that the issues raised did not detract from you having a wonderful stay, thank you.

On arrival, we were pleased with the lodge, location, cleanliness etc.
Having stayed in quite a number of lodges over the years, we felt this was on a par with some of the better lodges, a bathroom with a proper bath (compared to one where even a child would struggle to use it !) AND a separate shower (and 2 toilets!)
Although the hose in the over bath shower wasn't properly connected (the washers were all twisted!), it didn't matter too much as the water squirting out was confined. I was also surprised that there was no cafetiere in the lodge, I have never stayed anywhere that didn't have one, so wondered if it had been broken & not replaced.
I sent an email to the appropriate address. The washers were replaced on the shower hose the next day & the owner brought us a new cafetiere! (which was really nice, and rather unexpected, since I was only wondering if there should be one - there was a decent supply of instant in the welcome pack anyway), Such sterling service does warrant a special mention.
The hot tub was great to relax in after a hard day walking the dogs around hills and dales (we were in the tub, not the dogs!)
We were quite pleased with the pots & pans & utensils in the kitchen, so often you find non-stick pans all scratched & useless utensils (spatulas that melt at anything above room temperature!) so self-catering wasn't a problem, although we also ate out once or twice - the on-site eaterie wasn't too bad and there's a great chippy in Ambleside. All in all, a great place to stay.

What did you enjoy most about your stay?
I don't think there was any one thing really, everything was great.

What one experience (e.g attraction, walk, day out) would you recommend for our future guests?
Park up at Far Sawrey & walk to Wray castle. the dogs loved the freedom to be in and out of the water the whole walk & Wray Castle has a great tea room (loved the special bio-degradable, eco-friendly cutlery!

On behalf of ourselves and the lodge owners thank you very much for the kind review, Barbara. We were delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay and to rate the lodge so highly. The lodge owners will be very pleased to hear they were able to resolve the issues so promptly for you and especially providing you with a cafetiere. The little extras make all the difference. Lovely to hear you took a walk out from Far Sawrey to Wray castle, very picturesque by the lake, and also a perfect route for a bike ride and safe for the little ones. We look forward to welcoming you again to Ewe View - a luxury lodge in the heart of the Lake District surrounded by countryside, and with a private hot tub!

Thank you for your review, Shaun. We were very pleased to hear you had a nice stay at Ewe View - we trust it was relaxing and the luxury accommodation met all your requirements. The Haybarn pub and shop are something outside of our control although we will pass on your comments to the park management for their reference – thank you for letting us know. A great alternative is the Mortal Man, and only a short walk from Limefitt. It is popular for good food and has a super beer garden acclaimed to be one of the best in the country, and great views. Worth a visit? A luxury lodge that is modern and fully equipped to cater for four people and is ideal for couples sharing as it has a unique feature of bedrooms at opposite ends the lodge. For that extra special occasion a luxury package is available of champagne, chocolates and flowers on arrival. Perfect accompaniment for a relaxing evening in the hot tub!

I booked Ewe view lodge for the weekend as a birthday treat for the missus. I was looking for a lodge specifically with a hot tub and found Ewe view via a google search. Upon arrival I was very impressed with the lodge, it was very clean, the hot tub was brilliant and the views were fantastic. We were told to bring our own towels for the hot tub but found that extra towels had been provided specifically for the hot tub which was a nice extra touch. The bed was very comfortable and provided a good nights sleep. The park itself was very peaceful and the onsite pub was just around the corner. so not far to stumble back to the lodge haha. All in all a brilliant weekend away, and will definitely be returning, hopefully for a week next time.

Oh, and the weather hit almost 30 degrees, bonus haha.

What did you enjoy most about your stay?
Peaceful and relaxing, and the hot tub was brilliant.

What one experience (e.g attraction, walk, day out) would you recommend for our future guests?

All had a lovely time away. Roomy log cabin, stunning views, 5 minute drive from windermere. Only niggle was the oven, took a long time to cook anything, and one of the hobs wouldn't light. Wouldn't put us off though. Good selection of dvd's for those duvet days with a hot chocolate to hand. The hot tub was amazing, nice way to relax before bed. The pub on sight is alright, nothing flash, dog friendly but doesn't quite fit in with the quality of rest of the sight. Nice food and not badly priced. Over all had a fantastic time and would love to return some time in the future.

We stayed here for four days over the easter holidays with our two cocker spaniels. This place is so good, very relaxing, every comfort. Hot tub was just ideal, our son loved. The lodge is well equipped the beds very comfortable. I can't give this place any negatives. The pub on site is lovely but be prepared to wait for food, a bit of a shame but we weren't in a hurry. We recently stated at ewe view lodge and had a wonderful time. We shared the lodge with another couple and was pleased as each bedroom had its own bathroom next door. Set in an idyllic location. Stunning views and very peaceful. The lodge had all home comforts and was very spacious and bright. The only let down for me was the hot tub. We had to ask an engineer out to change the filter because there was lots of bits floating about. Whilst he came out promptly and changed the filter he promised to come back with anti foam and he didn't.
It didn't spoil our stay though. It was otherwise everything we wanted and the dog park was brilliant to let our dog off lead and play ball. Highly recommended.

We were originally booked into White Cross Bay but due to the terrible flooding at the time we were transferred to Limefitt Park. When I was told we could not go to White Cross Bay I was a bit disappointed as our original lodge booked had lake views but Mark and the ream had done us proud. Ewe View was gorgeous. There was a Christmas tree with lights, tinsel decorated the living area and the whole place smelt of Christmas. The reception staff were lovely and when I had trouble connecting to the free wifi at the park, Craig who was night security, spent quite a while sorting it all out for me, he was so helpful.
You get so much more when you book with LDLH. Complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, toiletry packs etc, etc. It's those little touches that make a big, big difference.
Despite the terrible weather conditions we still managed to use the hot tub which is screened by tinted glass panels. The owners even provided bath sheets for the hot tub. Everything you could need or want was on hand.
We had a lovely meal at the Haybarn and the staff there were so friendly and attentive, it is a lovely place to go and relax after a hard day's trekking. Didn't want to go home.

Ewe View is an excellent base camp for the area. We found the lodge to be extremely clean on arrival and it is well equipped. We have stayed in other lodges at Limefitt Park before and this one was of the same standard that we have come to expect. The hot tub was an excellent bonus and wonderful after a hike!

The Haybarn pub is closed weekdays until 5pm which was disappointing. The rest of the park was clean and peaceful.

What did you enjoy most about your stay?
The views from the lodge

What one experience (e.g attraction, walk, day out) would you recommend for our future guests?
Visit Elterwater. Great walks and excellent food at the Britannia Inn

Thank you for your review, Jennifer. We were pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay at Ewe View (and especially the hot tub!). Your suggestions to make this even better are appreciated. The Haybarn Inn does have shorter opening times at various times of the year and we therefore recommend the short scenic walk to the nearby Mortal Man in Troutbeck to experience a wonderful Lakeland Inn. We look forward to welcoming you back to this hugely popular lodge very soon.

Ewe view lodge is in a lovely raised position with fantastic views of the rolling hills . There is everything you need for a relaxing stay the only negative is that we could not stay long enough. The lodge is immaculately clean and a lot of thought has gone into making guests enjoy there stay. The site is well kept clean and the staff and other guests were really friendly. The onsite pub was nice to relax in its dog and family friendly with a games room with pool and darts to play . We will definitely return to ewe view lodge.

What did you enjoy most about your stay?
The rest and how quiet the site is and you can take your dog in most places

What one experience (e.g attraction, walk, day out) would you recommend for our future guests?

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at a property with Lake District Lodge Holidays, and no regrets either time, Ewe view was exactly what it is named a fantastic view with Ewe's in it, you are surrounded by fantastic view's on all sides and as an added bonus very close to the site Pub, which has a good selection of Ales and nice homely food, I recommend the burgers plenty of meat in them. (we had no noise from the pub either so its close but not too close)
The lodge itself was lovely and homely all we needed was there when we arrived, and the hot tub was fantastic to relax in after long walks, (tip) found out by accident that on the side of the hot tubs are two black switches if you don't think its Jets are enough these may be switched off.
the lodge isn't really over looked except in the lounge back window that had louvre blinds, so this made it even more relaxing,
Walks are all around you and you can walk to the Mortal man public house which has a fantastic beer garden as well as lovely food 10 mins walk.
My dog was welcomed everywhere so this makes it a full family holiday that was a struggle to come back from.

What did you enjoy most about your stay?
The peace and quiet that the site gives

What one experience (e.g attraction, walk, day out) would you recommend for our future guests?
Have lunch/tea at the Mortal Man but book on an evening as it saves a wait

What can we say. Loved every minute of our long weekend. Me, my partner and my younger sister. And Molly the 10 month old springer of course.

Lodge was everything we could have asked for. And some that we couldn't. Hot tub had daily use. Very nice after a long day of walking about.

Short drives to visit pretty much all the walks we had planned to do as well as the aquarium in newby bridge.

Lovely touch with the onsite pub allowing dogs in. Meant we could pop in for a quick drink with the pooch before taking her home for her own tea. Ate here a couple of nights and believe me, you would not go hungry!

All in all, a fantastic 3 days that we can't wait to do all over again!

Absolutely loved every minute. The place is incredible and the lodge is beautiful. We went for lovely walks with JJ the little pug and then jumped in the hot tub in the evening. We even had a hot tub in the snow! What an experience! The onsite pub serves great food and is also dog friendly which is great. We ate our meal by a lovely log fire and JJ enjoyed all the treats and fuss he got. It was very clean and spacious with everything you needed. Really want to go back and hopefully we will soon :)

what a fantastic lodge! and we probably picked the best time of year too! a beautiful and cost interior with a modern touch and everything you could possibly need in the lodge itself from cutlery to cooking aids, to brochures on local places to visit and things to do. the walk into Windermere is a fab thing to do while you're here although the roads aren't pedestrian friendly at times (no footpath) the on sight pub/ restaurant is food value for money and amazing food. best part about this lodge has to be the hottub though, absolutely amazing. even in the drizzle. so relaxing! will definitely come back :)

This was a family trip for us; sisters, late 20's and parents. My sister and I had arranged this weekend as a birthday gift to our Father and we all also took it as a real and rare opportunity to spend some quality time together. I would recommend this park and the lodge to others - we had a fab time! A lot of that was to do with the company of course, but the lodge, jacuzzi (!), park and not forgetting the beautiful landscape, all topped the weekend off.

This lodge is suitable for couples or family trips. Having said that, I don't think it would be ideal for very young children.

A suggestion to the park; the reception should have at least brochures on the local walks. We were told to drive into the town 10 minutes away and go to the tourist information office for this. This was not overly useful when we wanted to start some small family walks direct from the lodge, without getting in a car.

Overall, a fantastic weekend, one I will not forget!

What did you enjoy most about your stay?
The relaxing time spent with my family

What one experience (e.g attraction, walk, day out) would you recommend for our future guests?
Just to get out in the nature - it's beautiful and that's why you're there, right!?

Thank you for your very kind review and we were delighted to hear you enjoyed a family weekend at Ewe View. Usually there are handouts available in reception outlining some short walks from the park itself and we will pass your comments back to the park reception team. That said just heading off with an OS map (OL7)and following your nose is great fun in the Troutbeck Valley.

This was our 1st stay in ewe view and found it to be of excellent standard and a credit to the owners. The views are spectacular and the hot tub is a well added bonus for a relax after a hard days walk. Limefitt is in a beautiful picturesque area within the Troutbeck Valley with many walks on the doorstep and also within easy reach of the main tourist attractions nearby. We would definitely recommend to all future guests. The Haybarn Inn is a nice pub on site that serves good pub grub and real ales and not to far to stagger back ha ha !! I recommend the steak and the fish and chips.

What did you enjoy most about your stay?
All the beautiful walks in the area and the tranquil setting of the park.

What one experience (e.g attraction, walk, day out) would you recommend for our future guests?
When we are at Limefitt the car never moves at all we always explore the local area-Wansfell Pike.Orrest Head, III Bell, Yoke, Troutbeck Tongue, Mortal Man,

This was our 1st time to the lake district and couldn't of asked for more from the lodge, great location absolutely superb would highly recommend to anyone, hot tub was great we will definately return, only downside was we didn't really know where to go and would of liked to maybe to asked/recommended local walks etc, when we asked in reception they were not the most helpful, however we managed to find places in the end and went to Aira Force Ullswater which was excellent.

What did you enjoy most about your stay?
The lodge and hottub

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at Ewe View. Sorry to hear you felt that the service provided by the park reception wasn't helpful. There is an extensive range of leaflets about what to do in the area (and walking books) provided in the lodge as well as a tourist leaflet carousel outside the park reception. That aside it sounds like you enjoyed your first visit to the Lakes and we will be delighted to welcome you back to Ewe View again in the future.

We stayed at Ewe View for four nights and had a lovely break.
The lodge was spotless, very well equipped and very comfortable. There were four adult plus our dog staying and the lodge was spacious.

I got a bit confused with the oven as the heat settings lead me to believe it was an electric oven but it was gas... luckily disaster was averted.

The Hot tub is an added bonus. It was well used while we were there.

And the views are amazing

We will definitely be returning and will be recommending to friends

Ewe view is a lovely, clean lodge in a quiet spot of the lovely Limefitt Park. We all had a great week here. Very peaceful and relaxing. The on site pub is great, the staff very friendly and it welcomes dogs too!! Unfortunately their sister park (white cross bay) would not allow us to buy a pass to use their swimming pool which was the only disappointment of the holiday!

What a lovely lodge set in a fantastic park with everything you could need to enjoy a relaxing break away. The staff were polite & helpful even providing our dog with a bowl of water whilst we ate in the Haybarn Inn where he good and service was excellent. The river pool and park with zip wire was a huge hit with my kids. The lodge itself looks out to a beautiful view and was clean & comfortable with a bathroom and en suite either end. The tea, coffee and biscuits left was a lovely touch. The hot tub was the highlight of our stay; sitting in the sunshine and light rain after a long day was so relaxing and providing separate large towels for it was a great idea. The location of the park is ideal for visiting the many beautiful places in the Lake District. Thank you for a wonderful break. We hope to come back soon.

we have never stayed in a Lodge or visited the Lakes before and now we wish we had done both before. The Lodge is a credit to the owners, and the Hot Tub, how lush...there is a lovely little stroll down to the river pool, which our dogs loved (obviously only when there were not any children in sight) the dog field is great as the cannot get out. scenery is second to none, especially the view from our Lodge.... it took my breathe away. I have 2 tiny gripes( of which neither hindered my stay) the pub would be good at lunch time, and the shop could do with selling things like tomatoes, eggs, bit of salad ..
I would not hesitate to return and will be highly recommending Limefitt.
Thankyou

We have just come back from a long weekend at Ewe View in the Lake District and wow what a lovely lodge.
A real home from home, comfortable, clean and very modern. The hot tub is a real treat after a long day walking
and sight seeing!
The area around the lodge is great for walkers and has some beautiful views up in the mountains.
We loved Grasmere and Ambleside, two beautiful little towns. The homemade chocolate and fudge shop in
Grasmere is worth a visit!
Aira Force was a lovely morning out with a stunning waterfall. The paths lead you up from the bottom carpark
right to the top. We was expecting to see just a waterfall, but there was some really pretty places to stop
and take in the views, we wish we had taken a picnic with us. Our dog loved it, he was in taking a swim
at every opportunity.
We would highly recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely return.

What did you enjoy most about your stay?
The breath taking scenery.

What one experience (e.g attraction, walk, day out) would you recommend for our future guests?

We had a family mid week break (4 adults) in this modern spacious lodge, which is in a great location in the Lake District. Lodge is in beautiful and quite location. We took our dog who settled in well, lots of pubs, shops etc. nearby that accept dogs. Hot tub was amazing, great to relax in after a day of exploring. Lodge was nice and clean, the oven and oven trays could do with a good clean as were very dirty, however this would be my complaint.
