The Cow Shed is a striking renovated farm building which sleeps 6 (+2 extra adults/children on a sofa bed in the living room). Boasting an enclosed private garden with stunning view across the valley and a sheltered hot tub, this property's garden adjoins our other 6 bed, The Milking Parlour. Larger bookings can rent both spaces with access into either garden via a gate between the two; this gives families and large gatherings the freedom to move between gardens (this gate is permanently locked for separate parties.)

What a fantastic farm conversion - the Cow Shed is a really high spec holiday property that was a fantastic base for our family holiday.

The property itself was great, really spacious with fantastic facilities for our family (including two kids 8 and 14) and two grandparents. There were plenty of different spaces to relax and play so we never felt on top of one another.

The outdoors was great for games and the hot tub was a complete delight - what a great way to spend an evening watching the sunset over the surrounding landscape!

We travelled into Sheffield several times during the week but there was also loads to do in the surrounding area. The farm itself was great for younger kids to explore and really close to Gulliver’s Valley (cheaper tickets after 2pm!) Renishaw Hall, Rother Valley Water Park and numerous golf courses.

A wonderful welcome package and welcome note was left and the communication throughout was excellent. We hope to be back!

Wir haben für eine Woche eine Unterkunft gesucht u Shadyhall farm gefunden - Excellent! Toller aufwendiger Umbau mit extrem viel Liebe gestaltet.

Jeder Aufwand von Chloe,Karen u Alan hat sich gelohnt u wir lieben all diese harmonischen Dinge!
Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist voll kommen ok.
Der Weg zur Farm ist abenteuerlich, passt aber vollkommen zum Objekt:))) Alle Informationen sind hinterlegt und es fehlt nichts. Sollte doch etwas fehlen , schreibt man eine kurze mail oder telefoniert - es wird so schnell als möglich erledigt.
Wir kommen definitiv wieder : schöne Gegend, super Unterkunft , tolle Zeit!

This property is exceptional. It’s beautifully finished and the views are amazing.
You have everything you need as everything is very well thought out and the rooms are so spacious.
Communication from the owners was fantastic from start to finish we couldn’t have asked for more and would highly recommend this property.
Thank you to all at Shady Hall Farm for a wonderful cosy stay.

We had a fab family holiday at the Cow Shed. Lovely space, great rooms, fantastic
location. All towels and lots of kitchen and bathroom essentials etc provided which is a great help. A great base to get out and about around Derbyshire, or if you fancy a day or two doing nothing, masses of space at the property to relax in (or do nothing but stare at the clouds from the hot tub). Would recommend, we have already booked to go again.

We stayed for Easter at the Cow Shed on Shady Hall Farm. The barn is impeccable both in terms of decor and cleanliness. Nothing has been forgotten. We holiday in similar types of properties regularly and the Cow Shed is by far the best we have stayed in. Absolutely 5 star x

We stayed in the Cow Shed and milking parlour from Friday to Sunday. There were 15 of us and everything was amazing. Chloe was brilliant at promptly answering all my (many) questions and gave us great suggestions for food and pubs. The accommodation was spectacular- a really high standard that made the weekend feel like a huge treat. The fizz and scones on arrival was such a lovely touch. We will be back for sure!

We visited during our trip home from Australia along with family who had just got married. The Cow Shed provided the perfect luxury getaway we hoped it would & more. The location is beautiful, and the property exceeded expectations. Warm, cosy, immaculately clean with such added home comforts & super beds. The decor is beautiful & we loved the addition of the two Christmas trees & decorations. Karen & Allan are impeccable hosts & couldn’t do enough during our stay. We arrived to such a gorgeous welcome hamper & then more treats upon opening the fridge. The hot tub was the icing on the cake in such a lovely garden & that view. It was the perfect place for us to spend such a special time over new years with family who we hadn’t seen for 4 years. Very very special piece of paradise that we will cherish forever. Thankyou Chloe, Karen & Allan, it would be 10 stars from us!

We booked the cowshed for a family getaway. Surprisingly, the accommodation was even better than the photographs. It was immaculately clean with beautiful decor and it was obvious that there was a lot of thought was given to the design of the property.
Thank you to the owners for going the extra mile by providing the little extras, such as baking us fresh scones!
We had our very own hot tub which we made great use off. It was a perfect long weekend with lots of happy memories and we hope to come back again and again!
