We enjoyed very snug & comfortable accommodation , in a beautiful geographical area , removed from the bustle , but close enough to indulge when it suited. Michael was extremely pleasant and very attentive . A true holiday. A visit to the Willows Fish & Chips in Herstmonceux is a must - Adolfo fries a mean cod !

We are a group of 6 friends living in London we had our short Easter getaway at Michael's cottage. We spent 3 nights and it was an absolute delight. The cottage is gorgeous sorrounded by the nature with nice routes and beautiful landscapes. We could enjoy seeing sheep's, cows in the lovely village of cowbeech. Michael was super hospitalet and gave us recommendations to go around and he even helped us lighting our BBQ! The Oast House is a cottage full of character in beautiful surroundings.The weather was dreadful, stormy and very windy, but we were happy to spend time relaxing in this comfortable and cosy cottage. There’s a good pub in the village, an excellent village shop in a village just a couple of miles away and we thoroughly recommend The Star Inn at Old Heathfield for food. We had an excellent meal there on New Years Day. Michael was very helpful on the phone and in person but, now that Covid restrictions are relaxed, an information handbook would be useful.
