We had a wonderful few days at The Green. Jem and Bek were really quick to respond to any questions for our very last minute booking. The Haystore had everything we could have wanted and more; they had thought of everything and there were so many lovely touches. The location is beautiful and is a great hopping off point to go exploring to the Lakes or more locally - the local pubs were very good!
We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 days at the Green. The Byre is lovely, well furnished & equipped with everything for an excellent stay. The owners are v helpful & pleasant couple. Even texting us to inform us of the red squirrel appearance in the morning, a lovely start to the day to see them at the feeders. The sun shone, we walked to the village for an evening meal, a lovely holiday. Jim & Jennifer
What an amazing place The Green is! The owners Jem and Bek are so friendly and kind and welcoming. They really wanted us to enjoy our stay and we absolutely did. The Carthouse was superb. Very stylishly decorated and furnished with a fantastically well equiped kitchen. Everything about the accommodation was superb. The outdoor spaces were so beautiful. The joy of sitting by the beck and watching the lambs and the red squirrels were daily visitors.
