What a perfect stay. We were attending a wedding on site and could literally fall into bed after dancing all night.
Beautifully decorated bell tent and can imagine it would be special using the fire and the star gazing.
Really beautiful area of Norfolk.
We were a party of 12......6 adults with 6 children aged 2 to 9. The rooms had been designed by a local interior designer and were exceptional and fitted out to a high standard and quality. Lots of space for the children to make noise and run around and doing what children do.......with also enough room for the grown ups to hide and chill out when necessary.
Games room was fun but I've recommended to James the owner, that he invests in a heavier set of darts in the event that Luke Littler makes a visit.
Lots of room in the garden for chilling and playing.......the outside pool was super...more
What an idyllic location for a real taste of country living. Beautiful view, sunsets and rises. Baa-ing of sheep, bird song. Excellent walks and history. Small but perfectly arranged hut with comfy bed and sufficient seating for two both in and out. En-suite toilet and shower. Prompt responses from James to requests for more wood for the fire pit. Would use again.
Great stay, fabulous property and very clean, had some goodies which was a nice touch .. only issue was that due to the gorgeous weather the property was really hot and difficult to sleep or cook as it had no air conditioning units and there were only fans in the bedrooms .. with temperatures hitting 28-30 it would benefit to have even a mobile air conditioning.
The tent was beautifully furnished, spacious and comfortable. You couldn’t see the stars through the plastic roof although it was a very clear night; but because the tent was so lovely it didn’t really matter.
My wife and I had a lovely stay in the Norfolk Horn Shepherds hut. Very comfortable bed, beautiful location, and peaceful. It was ideal for the wedding we were attending
