Outstanding in all respects but the bed was a bit too hard for us. ((Our past two visits we had stayed in the Old Smithy and slept in the twin beds so this was not a problem)
We stayed in The Mews immediately before and following our wedding day at nearby Grangefields. This beautiful location provided us with the perfect, luxurious base for the few days. The little touches from a home baked cake, free range eggs and a bottle of bubbly that we were greeted with, to the warm welcome of the host, to the amazing spacious facilities and hot tub, were all perfect and made our stay extra-special! This visit we stayed in The Old Smithy, (previously stayed multiple times in The Mews). A delightful cottage, very relaxing break, bringing back old memories from previous visits. Each property is finished to a high standard, and gives inspiration for ideas in our own house. Always a warm welcome whenever we visit, and already re-booked for July 2026.
