My wife and I spent a very enjoyable week at The Cottage Leachd and were delighted with the location and the beauty of the view from the cottage. There was a small tea room/grocery store/post office not far away as well as other places of interest.
This was our second visit to An Airigh this year and it was just as relaxing and comfortable as the first. If you have a very stressful life, this is the place to rest and recuperate. We didn’t watch tv or any news all week, went off grid almost for total relaxation. (I didn’t even feel tempted to watch strictly!) Lunch at the oystercatcher was lovely and food at Inver is sublime. Fantastic dog walks, lovely friendly local people and of course the view from this fabulous cottage is captivating. Can’t wait to book another stay for next year.
We had a lovely holiday at Tanamuir in Strachur. It's our 4th visit to Strachur and this was probably the best holiday house we've stayed.in, although all have been good. There's everything you need at the cottage together witb a thoughtful Welcome Pack. The views alll around Argyll and Bute are wonderful and there's plenty to see and do, or just chill and enjoy the scenery.
This cottage suited all our needs, sitting out on the bench watching the gannets dive in the loch and the swallows busy overhead and enjoying the quiet and calm of the whole area was a delight. A cosy fire and far too comfortable sofa together with the huge bed upstairs made our stay a real pleasure. Amanda, our host was amazing helpful and kind going far beyond the norm.
