Brackenhill was perfectly located for visiting our family, and turned the trip into a relaxing holiday. The location is perfect, and we felt like we were the only people staying. The accommodation was really well thought out and equipped, with everything we needed. The beds were so comfy, and the shower was excellent. The honesty shop had a good range, and also items that could be borrowed like games and books for children, as well as beach equipment, wetsuits and body boards that we put to good use. I would 100% recommend, and can't wait until we can come back.
I don’t usually do reviews but this place is well worth reporting on! I stayed at Brackenhill with my two children aged 7 and 10. On the 18th to 21st August. It really had the “River Cottage” feel. If you want to get back to basics then this is the place to go! On arrival I was greeted by my host who explained where everything was. And ever so helpful. We stayed for 3 nights and I was really happy with the Glow worm tent. It literally had everything we needed. The beds worth super comfy. My kids loved the bunk beds and loved them.
