Cairn Dyke is one of our lodges that has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with an open-plan kitchen and dining area. With stunning views over Fleet Bay, Seascape has everything you need to have as a base while you explore the beauty of Dumfries and Galloway.

Comfortable lodge with stunning views. Had a very pleasant 2nd stay and would return. Liked the addition of the log burner in Cairn Dyke. Lots to do within the area. Would recommend a trip to Bladnoch Distillery, great tour. Would recommend a trip to Threave gardens. The local pub, The Masonic Arms serves a good Sunday carvery. Local spar shop is well stocked.
Bathrooms would benefit from some type of shelves to sit toiletries. Bedrooms would benefit from having a mirror in them. Would be good to be able to use the Sonos sound system in individual rooms rather than the whole lodge.
Would be nice to have outdoor chairs and perhaps a bbq to enjoy the views in good weather.
All in all another great weekend stay.

We booked last minute after New Year and owners were amazing sorting everything for us. Cairn Dyke is an absolutely stunning lodge in a beautiful rural location. The property was immaculately clean and we received a lovely welcome gift. Lodge is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a break away and beautifully decorated throughout . Views from the living area are spectacular especially on crisp sunny mornings. The wood stove enhances the cosiness of the lounge at night . You could almost touch the stars out back at night . Would highly recommend a stay here and will definitely be back . Donald was extremely helpful highlighting local eateries and beaches to visit . Castle Douglas is nearby and a trip to The Gather nearby too is a must for a meal or a lunch. We had glorious winter sunshine and a day at Carrick beach a few miles from lodge was a great treat for us and our young son .

We stayed in Cairn Dyke Lodge and it was beautiful. The lodge is extremely well equipped with very spacious rooms and beautiful interiors. This made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The huge windows in the open plan area look out over a stunning view and we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area. For anyone looking to escape a busy life for a few days, this is the perfect place for instant relaxation.

Eight family members and new baby enjoyed a long weekend at both Cairn Dyke and Ocean View as we had a family wedding at nearby GG’s Yard. Lovely spacious lodges, high end quality showers, extremely comfortable beds, fantastic panoramic views in quiet location. James made us feel very welcome and was on hand for any queries. Would love to have stayed for longer and would not hesitate to come back when we’re in the area. Just perfect for what we were looking for. *****
