We had a lovely stay at Forest Edge with the family! The house is perfect, really spacious and a lovely garden to enjoy when the sun is shining! The house was clean and tidy and had all the bits and pieces you need to cook etc. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the beautiful New Forest!
Avocet in Keyhaven is a well located and well presented property. On arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with all the amenities and cleaning items supplied. The kitchen has quality appliances and everything needed for the avid cook. The bedrooms are spacious and well presented. My only suggestion would be to improve the quality of the sheets, pillows, and duvet, or bring your own. It may be that we are a little fussy, but bedding that keeps you cool rather than making you hot is definitely our preference. The beds themselves are very comfortable and obviously good quality. We felt so happy and comfortable from the moment we arrived, every practical thing has been thought of! And the level of comfort was just the icing on the cake. We were able to bake, cook grand meals and have the most fantastic time we could have hoped for! Please, please visit Oddways, you will not ever regret or forget this place! We certainly won’t!
Gorgeous house with lovely fixtures and fittings. Absolutely immaculately clean.. Three huge bedrooms and three bathrooms. Lymington a lovely place and ideally located for cycling trips to the Forest
Ploughman's Cottage is a superb house, in a fantastic spot. With a brilliantly appointed kitchen, very comfortable beds, cosy log burner and lovely garden. We were very happy to be there indeed! It's like a big warm hug. Rachel's blog detailing all of the various local walks was fantastically helpful too. As were the children's books and toys! We did a long walk every single day and fell in love with the New Forest. Light the fire on your return and job done. Excellent communication throughout. Didn't want to leave. Thank you.
Absolutely fabulous location and great property. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. A great place to enjoy the New Forest from!
Brockwell is absolutely gorgeous, well appointed and a great size. A great location to get out and visit the New Forest. Even in the cold we could enjoy the garden. The photos don’t do it justice. We will definitely be back!
Well-appointed cottage in a lovely setting. Enjoyed walks and shopping in Milford on Sea and Lymington. Excellent customer service from Sarah and Rachel at New Forest Escapes.
Despite C19 trying to disrupt our celebration, we had a wonderful time at this warm & stylish cottage.
Fantastic location at the heart of the new forest. Would recommend that you take or hire bikes as there are so may cycle routes to enjoy directly from the cottage. We cycled the Balmer lawn circular, to Beaulieu and Bucklers Hard and to Burley and Rhinefield arboretum. It’s such a nice way to see the forest as well as the ponies and donkeys. The cottage is ideal for families. We had 2 families of 4 in the cottage, there was plenty of space to spread out over the 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The annex bedroom was really popular with the older children allowing them to have there own space an...more
Such a cosy little place, throughly enjoyed our early Christmas here. Excellent kitchen, so easy to use. Lovely area, great for dog walks!
We enjoyed 10 wonderful days at this cottage during Christmas pre lockdown. The cottage is beautiful and sweet and the location is to die for! We spent many hours just gazing at the sea, light, wild ponies, birds and stars- absolutely stunning! The owners are lovely and welcoming. The whole experience was superb and we could have stayed forever! Something to inspire to and we would definitely be coming back! Thank you so much!
Probably the nicest cottage we have stayed in. Absolutely brilliant location with walks and cycle trails on your doorstep. The property was spotlessly clean on arrival and very well equipped. Beautifully renovated and furnished inside with the Aga generating so much warmth for a most friendly welcome. We spent our days out walking on either Hurst Spit - a visit to the castle is a must - or the nature reserve trails and late afternoons were spent on the window seat watching the world go by. My only suggestion would be that a slightly bigger tv is needed in the lounge. Otherwise perfect an...more
