A party of 10 old friends (5 couples) meet up together every year from different parts of the country. We chose The Old Watermill and we were not disappointed. The property was of exceptional quality and the customer service from Catch the Breeze was first class. Our special thanks to Clare who met us at the property and showed us around prior to our get together. We were so impressed we added an additional 3 nights to our original 4 nights stay. The property was tastefully decorated and to a very high standard. The kitchen area was exceptionally well equipped and of good quality. The setting ...more
This was our second visit to Reading Rooms and our 4th visit to a Catch the breeze property within the last 12 months We had a wonderful time very peaceful and the cottage was as always for Catch the breeze spotlessly clean and very well appointed We could not recommend highly enough Special thanks to Ben
We had a wonderful stay at Oughtershaw. Everything is superb. And as if it couldn’t get better….then there was gorgeous Ben who couldn’t be more helpful
Mill Farmhouse was an excellent home for our family gathering. Chose it for all the bedrooms having en-suites and big open living area which didn’t disappoint. All staff at Catch The Breeze were very attentive and provided excellent service. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
Tan Llan was a brilliant place to stay for the weekend. It's rustic with old beams and stone walls but with really nice modern bathrooms and kitchen, so an enormously comfortable place to stay. Great grounds with big fields and a river, and a perfect spot to explore Snowdonia and the coast from.
Our third visit to Middlerigg - we simply love it. We holiday in this country a lot and Middlerigg is in the perfect location. Craster is a lovely seaside village, perfect for visiting Northumberland. The ability to leave the house straight onto the Coastal Path, with idyllic walks in both directions is such a positive. We love sitting either on the terrace, in the kitchen/diner or the mezzanine and looking out to Dunstanburgh Castle. The house is spacious, nicely decorated and very well equipped. Beds are comfy. Catch the Breeze are efficient and communicate well.
Harbourway is a beautifully situated holiday home in Craster . It is a very high spec home and everything is provided for a comfortable stay . There were 7 adults and a toddler and the spacious living areas meant everyone had plenty of time to relax and enjoy their holiday
We've visited a few different properties in Craster, so this was our first time with Catch The Breeze staying at Driftwood. What a find! Beautiful property inside and out, just right for 4 guests. Great facilities, very clean and comfortable. We were lucky to have excellent weather for early March, so we could make use of the seating at the front and enjoy the sun. Perfect for watching the world go by plus a lovely view of the harbour. The team at Catch The Breeze were very friendly and helpful too which was a bonus. Highly recommended.
House is immaculate. This was our second visit and it didn't disappoint. Well done to the staff for the cleanliness and well stocked kitchen essentials.
Craster never disappoints. With views of Dunstanburgh castle from outside and upstairs this small cottage is the perfect place to stay if you want to enjoy this stretch of coast. Ideally placed for walks north and south and a stones throw from the award winning Jolly Fisherman it offers everything you might need for your Northumbrian getaway.
