This was our fifth visit to Keeper’s Cottage and, as always, we had a wonderful fortnight. As an added bonus, the weather was fantastic. As soon as we arrive we can feel the calmness descend as we settle in and relax in the lovely cottage, which has become like a home from home. Being on the Straloch Estate is such a treat.
Straloch is one of the few places we have visited that genuinely deserves the title of hidden gem. It's perfectly sized, it's views are exquisite, and the loch itself is an extraordinary centrepiece to the ideal highland estate. Our hosts and the Stalker's Lodge were perfect, and every conceivable highland activity is easily arranged by the immensely hospitable, fun and welcoming hosts. We cannot recommend Straloch highly enough.
