Like so many other reviews for Osdale Cottages I can speak highly enough. We stayed at the Byre for New Year, and our first visit to Skye. It was everything we were hoping for: cosy (under floor heating is such a bonus esp loved by our dog!), beautiful, comfortable, wonderful views through large windows, everything you could possible need has been thought about. The perfect place to unwind and that's what we did - cooked, read, painted, wrote and chatted. It's two miles from the nearest village of Dunvegan which is a great walk or short drive. I stayed for 2 weeks with my husband and dog, the cottage was wonderful. The owners left some much appreciated supplies which were there when we arrived. This consisted of some food, washing and cleaning supplies and wood etc. The location is fairly simple to get to and the view is absolutely stunning no matter the weather. It's the right amount of secluded, just close enough to Dunvegan to supply yourself if required, and the town has an EV charging point as well, which makes it a great location if you have an EV like we did.
