Really nice, comfortable cottage on the outskirts of a very small village. Kitchen well equipped. Beds really comfortable with nice crisp white linen. Thought the bedrooms lacked storage until we found the built in wardrobes in the upstairs hallway. Iron/ironing board also in wardrobes. Provides everything for babies although we did bring our own in the end. Shower pressure really poor and needs new holder for shower head. Facilities eg pool, games room, hot tub, really good. This was our 2nd time of staying in this cottage, the cottage is excellent, everything you need is there, we would have liked to try the hot tub, but the weather was too hot, you couldn't sit out, the alpacas were a joyto watch, and it was all fenced for the dog
We booked Orchard and Tike's (Tilly's & linked Drake's) for a 4-night stay from Easter Monday. Their close proximity meant that the 4 families could have some privacy and 'down time' but that the 6 children could share fun together in the outdoor areas and be easily supervised in the pool, games room and hot tubs. The properties were all well equipped to cope with the needs of young families (the only things 'missing' were sun shade umbrellas - we had 2 days of gloriously hot sun). Cleanliness was generally excellent though the cutlery was the weakest point (amongst a well equipped kitchen)...more
Couldn't fault the stay, my son and his family stayed and enjoyed the pool and animals, the play area was good
A dinky cottage, ideal for 2 or 3. All mod cons provided and very comfortable beds. We’ve been before so we know the facilities are excellent, the swimming pool was especially warm and it’s a great place for the dog
