The Wifi was not at all good and it was quite cold despite the oil heaters. The bottom sheet was marked.

I recall it was a chilly weekend and I mentioned prior to your arrival that we live in the village so could pop up with an extra heater for you if needed? This was our fourth visit to the Holiday Park but the first time at The Palms. We can thoroughly recommend The Palms. It is very well maintained and it is clear that a lot of hard work was done to refurbish it when they took it over. We have had a wonderful holiday and it is was lovely after a day of sightseeing coming back to our comfortable bungalow. The site itself is well looked after and is set in beautiful surroundings. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

I had a great 2wks holiday at the Palms,I have stayed here for years when it was previously owned, It has now had a fabulous up date, The one thing I missed was the lovely view of the river dart with my morning cuppa,The hedge was much too high if this was sorted it would be perfect.

Thank you for letting us stay in The Palms for a long weekend. This was our second stay in The Palms, firth or sixth on the site. Just love the position, and so peaceful. Only one problem, I have arthritis in my fingers and the tap in the bathroom was inpossible to turn on. My husband had to do it for me. We would recommened The Palms to anyone for a holiday

The Palms at Galmpton Park was an excellent holiday home for a week. Very comfortable and everything you need in the kitchen! We used the bus stop at the Churston Golf Club to get to Stoke Gabriel, Paignton, Brixham, Torquay, Babbacombe, Kingswear and Dartmouth. Then it was on to a boat for a trip to Greenway. Petrol at Waterside was only £1.379 per litre!!

I have stayed at the Palms before during the summer months when it has been fine. Unfortunately we are experiencing very cold weather just now and I arrived to a very cold chalet and a summer duvet, with no extra bedding. The two plug in radiators did eventually warm the place up but were not really adequate for winter stays.

This is the third time we have stayed at the Glampton site. Each time the chalets we have booked have been getting better and better, with this visit topping our ratings for comfort and style. There is everything needed in the kitchen area and the layout of just one large bedroom really works well for us. This and the general decor of the Palms makes it first rate.

Really enjoyable holiday in the Palms , great location and very clean. Fantastic views over the river Dart, with lovely walks nearby too. Definitely would recommend staying in the accommodation.

Another lovely holiday at The Palms. It's our second time there and we found it stoplessly clean, well equipment, modern and very comfortable. It's situated in the attractive village of Galmpton and has a brief view of the River Dart.There's a nice walk to the waters edge, which is well worth doing. The sunsets over the river are spectacular. The village has a great pub (The Manor Inn) serving good food, plus The village boosts a well stocked village store and post office. It's only a ten minute drive to Brixham and therefore ideally located for touring this beautiful part of South Devon. A big thanks to Katie, Rupert, Helen and Roy for their kindness.We well be back and will recommend it to our family and friends. Best regards. Roger & Pat.
