This Lantern and Larks site, Sweffling, is nestled between Framlingham, Southwold and Aldeburgh, this glamping site is perfectly located for discovering the Suffolk coast. At the end of the day, return to one of our six luxury safari tents, complete with proper beds, firepit and hot showers. If you’re travelling in a group, you could even book several tents and enjoy a break with your nearest and dearest.

We absolutely love the set-up of Lantern & Larks and have stayed on 3 different sites. The Sweffling site is a favourite as the location is so close to the coast and the lovely towns of Southwold & Aldeburgh. Nothing is too much trouble for Andrew who lives on the farm onsite and is always available.
We travel as a large family group (plus dog) and book 3 properties on the site, the kids are free to roam and the tents are well equipped for everything you need. There's a decent shower and separate loo, a lovely woodburner for the chilly evenings - with a plentiful supply of logs you can get from the log store (included). There's a gas hob for cooking/making a cup of tea, but also an open fire outside that you can BBQ on (bring your own charcoal, or can purchase in the shop). The beds are comfy & cosy too.
The honesty shop is well equipped, you can plug your charging banks in to recharge, but they also provide rechargeable lanterns, plus frozen 'hot' water bottles which you can use to chill the cool boxes (x2) that are provided in the tents.
We're already enquiring about booking the same week again next year! Thank you Andrew, and the Lantern & Larks team!

We really enjoyed our stay. The tent was comfortable and well provisioned. Our children really liked being able to have a fire outside and to do some cooking on the fire.
We appreciated having a bathroom and shower attached to the tent!
Nice view from the front of the tent, felt like it was in the middle of nowhere. Very quiet except for birds and animals.

Lovely stay - Andrew very helpful but not intrusive. Clean and luxurious ‘tent’. Lovely memories of evenings by the fire pit eating marshmallows and watching the stars come out.

Absolutely loved this trip away, the host, Andrew, was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Its such a lovely site, very clean and tidy and amazing views. I hadn't been glamping before so I didn't really know what to expect but the tents are very spacious, the beds are amazing, so comfortable! They have a fully equipped kitchen with cool boxes for fridge items and you can get ice blocks from the honesty shop. The site is only a 10 - 15 min drive to the nearest supermarket. I would definitely recommend and hope to revisit again in future.
