We enjoyed our stay in Barney's cottage. It is very spacious, clean and well equipped. We appreciated the warm welcome from Sue and the welcome pack, particularly the delicious jam. There are some good local walks from the door and many interesting places to visit by car - Bolton Abbey, Fountains Abbey and the water gardens, RHS Harlow Carr, Brimham rocks etc We enjoyed seeing the lambs, lots of bluebells, blossoms and other spring flowers. The curlews singing, the calls of the oyster catchers and skylarks and all the other birds were lovely. Thank you.
I had a really enjoyable and pleasant week-long stay at Robbie's Retreat. It was a perfect base from which to explore the Dales, with some local walks and access to the Nidderdale Way. The accommodation was well-presented and well-equipped. There was good communication with the owners, Brian & Sue. The welcome pack of home-baked scones, biscuits and preserves were both delicious and very welcome - had I needed extra there was ability to order more (and also eggs) from the farmhouse. Great farm stay accommodation in the Dales!
