This is a repeat review as we are repeat visitors over multiple times. Barneys is always spotless and warm. The setting is quiet and very handy for local walks or further into the dales or into Harrogate.
I had a really enjoyable and pleasant week-long stay at Robbie's Retreat. It was a perfect base from which to explore the Dales, with some local walks and access to the Nidderdale Way. The accommodation was well-presented and well-equipped. There was good communication with the owners, Brian & Sue. The welcome pack of home-baked scones, biscuits and preserves were both delicious and very welcome - had I needed extra there was ability to order more (and also eggs) from the farmhouse. Great farm stay accommodation in the Dales!
