You do not have to be a surfer to appreciate the famous Fistral Beach in Newquay. There is something magical about this part of Cornwall, and The Beach House epitomises that surf lifestyle perfectly.
Combining a laid back feel with luxurious living, the house has a large private balcony overlooking the sea so guests get to watch the sun set over the Atlantic in spectacular style.
The home has been designed with the beach goer in mind so there is a hot outside shower to rinse that beach sand and salt off under, as well as a covered store for buckets, spades, wetsuits and surfboards.
Underfloor heating keeps the house warm and cosy with large leather sofas in the living room and a modern kitchen to entertain in.
The house sleeps eight guests with the master bedroom having an en-suite bathroom.
If you love the beach and are looking for a fantastic holiday home overlooking one of Newquay’s best, we cannot think of a better place that The Beach House.

The property is in a fantastic location with a view that is superb. However, the property has not been updated for I estimate 20-30 years, there are damp and mould issues in the bedroom and bathrooms, and I would not classify this as a luxury property. This property has been fantastic in its day, however, it now needs a significant update.

Photos looked great when we booked.
But I was disappointed. It needed some TLC.
The chairs outside are dirty and the BBQ was unusable. The outside shower was also not outside but in the side, full of spider webs .
The cushions on the sofa need replacing or a good wash. Also the mat was dirty.
The kitchen is nice, and clean, but some of the plates were chipped.
We had to buy black bags and dishwasher tablets.
The Nintendo also didn’t work.
The bedding and towels are nice fresh and clean. The Bathroom are clean. But you can’t open any downstairs windows, it’s full shrubbery and needs good cutting away from house.
It’s about 15-20 minutes to beach. And same to the town.
One thing that was not mentioned it overlooks a graveyard
We had nice time, I wouldn’t call it luxury and I wouldn’t stay again.

The cottage was lovely and we slept well on the double bed which appeared to have a fairly new mattress. The cottage could have done with a more meticulous clean as we found a number of shards of broken glass. Having cleaned it up e telephoned the owner; who advised that builders had been in. The swing chair we did not use following cautionary how to use it notes. Everything was within easy walking distance. We walked the dog early on the beach.

Comfortable 3 bed home close to the beach and with ocean views. Conveniently located and well appointed. We stayed for 3 months here and loved it. Owner is super helpful and will ensure you have a great stay. Could not recommend it more highly.
