Set in the sought-after Ebbtide development right behind the golden sands and crystal-clear surf of Porth Beach, this contemporary duplex apartment has all you could ask for from a coastal holiday home, with gorgeous furnishings, top-notch features, a partial sea view and its own outside space.
Two beautifully appointed bedrooms rest on the ground floor and have beds that can be arranged as super kings or twins to offer flexible sleeping to suit both couples and families. Both boast crisp linen, black-out blinds, built-in wardrobes and Smart TVs, with the larger of the two having its own en-suite which has an oversized walk-in shower. A glass door from this room gives access out to a furnished terrace and garden, and here guests can dine, relax or simply hang out in the sunshine.
Upstairs, the open plan living area creates a bright and airy space for socialising and unwinding, with doors opening on to the large seaward-facing balcony which is the perfect spot for taking in the views. The kitchen is fully equipped with all that guests will need to be able to whip up home cooked meals, and the dining area is ideal for morning chats or for planning the day’s activities over a coffee and a full English.
The small coastal village of Porth is the best of both worlds, being away from the bustle of neighbouring Newquay yet within easy reach of its shops, restaurants and surf schools. Porth Beach itself offers an expanse of golden sand and relatively calm waters thanks to its sheltered position between two headlands, so for swimming, paddle boarding or splashing in the shallows, it’s ideal. A narrow wooden footbridge leads to Porth Island where incredible views over the Atlantic and coastline are showcased and from here, the South West Coastal Path meanders to Whipsiderry Beach and then on to Watergate Bay (about half an hour’s walk). Lusty Glaze Beach is roughly 20 minutes’ walk in the other direction, or if you’d prefer to drive, just 3 minutes’ by car.
