We loved our stay at Barley Bank. The house had everything we could possibly want or need - and more! Very short distance to Elgin but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. Everything had been very well thought out and planned for ease and comfort. I would have loved to have stayed longer!

We enjoyed a fabulous stay at Barley Bank which we found extremely well presented, comfortable, and very convenient for all we wanted to achieve during our stay. Bringing a TV Fire stick of our own enabled us to view the closing phases of the World Cup in great comfort.

Barley Bank is a lovely holiday cottage which worked really well for us as a family of four, with Grandad travelling with us. The double and twin rooms upstairs can share the large bathroom there, and Grandad got a bedroom/bathroom to himself on the ground floor with no steps to negotiate. The large dining kitchen, opening on to the fenced garden was perfect for the lovely sunny week we had, there was even a fire pit for the kids to toast marshmallows one night. The cottage was really nicely furnished and had all the things needed for a functional family trip from cooking utensils to a washing line and pegs for the laundry. Thank you to the Duffus Estate, we had a lovely stay.
