We had an amazing 2 nights in both cottages in Troutsdale Farm. I cannot praise this place highly enough. The cottages themselves are excellent - really good value, very homely, comfortable beds and spacious. Stepping into them feels like home. The location is great and near to lots of great walks and pubs. Barbara, who runs the place, was so friendly and accommodating from first contact. She was extremely helpful with suggestions for our stay. She made a fresh sponge cake and flapjacks for both cottages, both of which were excellent If I could give ten stars, I would!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 We had an amazing stay at The Old Shire Stables in the Peak District with friends. The location is absolutely fantastic, perfect for exploring the area, and the house itself was incredible — spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Our host was so friendly and welcoming, and really couldn’t do enough to help, which made the whole experience even better. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable getaway. Will definitely go back again
