One of the best lodges we’ve stayed in , very clean, comfy and had everything we needed , lovey staff and great area for exploring Somerset .
Our stay was exactly what we wanted, relaxation in a lovely setting, and in a good location to explore the local area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Spinney, it was clean, well maintained, comfortable, and the perfect base for our mini moon.
This was our second visit to Strawberryfield park and again it didn't disappoint. The lodge was superb, well equipped and comfortable, we didn't want to leave!
We have twice stayed in The Spinney and enjoyed it very much. This time we decided to stay in Cheddar Pink. We enjoyed it that much we booked again for a 4th visit.

This is our second stay at Orchard lodge. Last year for our mini moon and this year for our 1 year anniversary. Strawberryfield Park is truly a home away from home. Clean and tidy, all amenities needed, hot tub is fabulous. The site is quiet and the perfect retreat. Highly recommend!
This is our 3rd visit and we will be back again Lodges are clean, very well equipped and to a high standard. Staff are friendly as are the locals. Always have a great time staying here. Very relaxing
Our party of 4 celebrating a 60th birthday had a great time, lodge was very nicely furnished with ever you could need self catering. A bottle of wine greeted up on arrival which was a nice touch. Folders in bookcase gave all the information you might need and we ordered a Chinese takeaway delivered to our lodge during our stay which was very nice. We had a couple of small issues but called Mike on the site and he fixed them very quickly thank you Mike. We stayed in Combe Hay for a long weekend and it was fantastic. The hot tub was fantastic and we had great weather. The lodge was immaculate and had no problems at all to mention. The site is peaceful and quiet and the grounds are immaculate. There is a little shack type bar called the Cider Barn, which was great. You have to pass the Barn to get onto our part of the site which was the right fork but we found that on 2 occasions (saturday and sunday) the cars visiting the Cider Barn made it very difficult to drive passed altho the shack has an overflow car park and the patrons just didnt u...more
We stayed in the lodge in Pamela's Meadow for 7 days in September 2025 and enjoyed a lovely peaceful and relaxing time, would highly recommend. All the lodges have everything you need and are set in a quiet countryside surrounding with the Cider Barn just a few minutes walk away at the top of the park. We have stayed at Strawberry Fields Park 4 times now, each time a different lodge but loved all of them. Although you can't rely on the British weather, you can still enjoy the hot tub and the lodge s well as visiting Cheddar and the surrounding area. The bus stop into Cheddar or Wells is just a...more
This was our second time at SF, it is the most gorgeous place to stay. Somewhere you can enjoy and relax in the beautiful surroundings. The cabin itself was so lovely and cosy especially the bed, had the best nights sleep ever. We loved staying here so much so we booked again for next year. This is now our favourite place to come and stay.
The lodge was clean and everything there. Could do with a lock on the bedroom and a few other things
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at Perry Lodge and if we ever intend to stay in the area again we would stay here without question. We also would have no hesitation in recommending the site and lodge to anyone else. A few minor negatives...as per other comments, the were many cobwebs both up above around ceilings and doorways and behind bedside lamps etc, the hot tub lid needs fixing so it doesn't keep blowing away in strong winds, it was disappointing to see pretty dirty windows (the inside could at least be cleaned regularly) and personally I think a broom is a must when you have wooden floo...more
Our 5th time to Strawberry Fields but first in Diamond lodge. Another well appointed lodge. Clean , good layout and everything you could need. A lovely hot tub provided relaxation after days walking. Will return.
This was our 2nd stay at The levels in as many months. Such a lovely lodge with the comfiest bed ever. The hot tub is divine. The weather wasn't great but that didn't ruin our break. I've already booked to come back in the new year.
Lovely place to stay, home away from home just with the added hot tub. Great location and never seen our dog so happy when away.

Everything was lovely and amazing, we loved our 4 nights stay at Chaterhouse and the highlight of the stay was the hot tub, views and the peaceful atmosphere . We had a great welcome on the site and the service provided when we required help with the tv and speaker system was brilliant. We had a complimentary welcome pack waiting for us in our lodge, which was lovely. All the rooms were very spacious and very clean. A lovely relaxing tranquil place to stay. Decorated beautifully throughout, with lovely added touches with the wine and delicious biscuits to greet us upon our arrival. We spent every evening in the hot tub which was completely private. We had a great week and will definitely be back again next year!
This was the first time me and my partner had been away together and what an experience at strawberryfield park. we stayed at the Mulberry lodge and found it so spacious with fantastic facilities. the location was fantaic, being a 5 minute drive from the centre of Cheddar and Cheddar gorge. We will absolutely being coming back next year we had such a fantstic time. thank you staff at strawberryfield park!!
The Sleights is furnished to a very high standard and loved the hot tub. The mattresses are super comfortable and the en suites very spacious. The added touches such as robes for the hot tub really made our stay. I would highly recommend Spice Cottage in nearby Cheddar, does a great Indian takeaway. Bath is a 40 minute drive away, well worth a visit, went to the famous Roman Baths. I would highly recommend Strawberryfield Park and I will definitely return in the future.
We stayed in the retreat for a week with friends and can honestly say how amazing the cabin was. The bed was amazing and for someone who struggles to sleep...I had the best naps ever in the bed! ...wood burner was so cozy and the lodge was furnished to a high standard. We met mike and his son tom a few times who were both really friendly and helpful. Location is close to wookey hole and chedder...and I think we all ate our bodyweight in cheese! ...the hot tub was lovely and a great height ( no clambering in!) ... we would definately like to return ❤️
