A most attractive and comfortable cottage with safe garden in a glorious setting. The location was peaceful with only birdsong and wildlife which was perfect for us.

Cottage was a great location and very picturesque. It very much needs updated bathroom. Bath enamel badly chipped. Wooden floor unhygienic. Poor hot water system. Third bedroom far too small for twin beds. Main bedroom bed too low to the ground. Ground floor shower too far away and badly mouldy. Kitchen cutlery very cheap. Kitchen not well equipped.
Cleaning on arrival very poor. Dog hair all over rugs and sofas.

Park Cottage was a nice cottage but wasn’t perfect. There was no privacy glass on either bathroom windows and the twin bedroom had nowhere to hang clothes.
The estate was lovely but there was no mention of the 10-4 restriction on the tennis court and swimming pool until we arrived. Because of the weather this meant that we never got to use these facilities in the late afternoon when it warmed up and we got back from our day trip. This seems rather misleading as at booking it stated that we could use these during our stay and was a key reason why we chose Fring Estate.
On the positive side the walks from the cottage we’re gorgeous and we watched deer, hare, buzzards and bats from the sunset mound.

We had a wonderful week. The Estate is very well kept with lots of things to explore. We used the pool which my daughter really enjoyed.Great dog walks. Having a secure garden was a perfect plus for us.
It is in a beautiful part of the country and I really didn’t want to come home.
