Situated on a lovely corner plot just up Rockfield Road behind Little Beach is the stunning architecturally designed detached chalet bungalow called Bayview Cottage. What a position! Not only does it have breathtaking views from most rooms but it is so close to the beach and village at Woolacombe

Bay View is in a superb location with views over Woolacombe Bay and the surrounding areas.
The large balcony is fantastic where weather permitting you can enjoy the sun loungers to recharge and chill out completely.
There is also a table and chairs for six where alfresco dining can be enjoyed eating food cooked on the BBQ provided, cooked in the kitchen or brought in from outside
Bay View Cottage has everything you for up to 6 people with two double bedrooms and a twin.
The lounge is huge and absolutely brilliant with opening bi-fold doors to bring the outside in
The kitchen has everything you will need including a dining table and six chairs which is ideal at breakfast or when weather is not so kind
The utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer and a walk in wet room with a fabulous rain shower in where I would recommend a 2 minute cold shower to finish
We have spend many years in North Devon and this property is by far the best so far

We’ve been travelling to Woolacomb for several years now for a summer holiday as it’s a very dog friendly resort. This is the first time we’ve stayed in Bay View cottage, it is the best accommodation we have had. Great location, great views, patio gets the sun all day. The cottage is clean and well maintained. It has a great layout both downstairs and up. For four adults and a small dog there was plenty of room. Will definitely stay there again.

This is our first time at Bay View and will not be our last!!! It is a stunning cottage with fabulous views over the beach. The location is excellent, just 5 mins walk to the beach, restaurants and in particular walks with our dogs. It had everything we could want. This is the 5th time we have booked accommodation through Holiday Home Hunter and would definitely recommend them. Maddy and Sarah kept us informed every step of the way, especially whilst going through the difficulties relating to the Pandemic, as we had to re-schedule our original holiday.

No complaints at all really, obviously a bit inconvenient to have to supply our own linen, but if that’s the worst thing we have to endure in this pandemic, it’s fine !!!

BayView Cottage must have one of the best locations in Woolacombe. A very short walk to the beach but an incredible view of Woolacombe bay from the terrace! The property was immaculate and stylishly furnished. We loved the comfy armchairs overlooking the bay although it was even better when we sat on the terrace in the sunshine looking at the bay... Maddy and Sarah at Holiday Home Hunter were incredibly helpful at all stages of booking and pre-arrival, especially so given the difficulties around Covid-19. We have stayed in quite a few properties in Woolacombe area over the last 6 years with different agents and I would very highly recommend Holiday Home Hunter and Bay View Cottage.

What a beautiful place to stay. The views were gorgeous of the beach and out to sea. The terrace was a wonderful suntrap. The kitchen was lovely and well equipped. Upstairs rooms were very light and airy but beware hitting your head on the sloping ceilings! We would definitely like to stay at this house again as it suits our needs - we go on long walks with the dogs every day and it is only a short walk up the road to fantastic walks with beautiful views.

This was the second year we have stayed at Bay view cottage, but our twelfth year in woolacombe. Bay view cottage is lovely. Comfortable, light and airy with spectacular views down the beach and out to sea. Miss it already and have booked for next year.

This is our second year for our family to stay at Bay View Cottage, having stayed at one of the Little Beach Apartments across the street the prior year, and in several years before that various of the Woolacombe Bay static caravan parks. You can tell we love Woolacombe - for the location in general, the atmosphere and activities available.
We transitioned from the caravans to the apartments/homes due to the hassle of getting to the beach and the £8 parking per day. Little Beach was great and right on the seafront, but Bay View gives a much larger house, with amazing views and a higher spec finish. The 3 large bi-folds open up the living room to a large patio and fabulous views. It is located across from Barricane Beach, by the grassy area before the main beach. It is a short walk to downtown, the main beach and Watersmeet. There is also a public footpath at the top of the road that links to Watermeet, Twitchen House and the SW Coast Path to Morthoe (the light house etc.) or in the other direction to Baggy Pointe and Croyde. The homeowners provided many dvds and boardgames to occupy on evenings, along with some surfboards and bodyboards. The logburner, charcoal bbq and massive eat-in kitchen are also welcome.. It is a home away from home - the only hing we brought was our FireTV stick ;-).

An excellent holiday with no complaints about the property or the service. An observation is that in the en suite bedroom there is no large mirror apart from in the bathroom so difficult when drying hair etc.

We were a family of 6, aged between 72 years and 5 months. We stayed at Bayview Cottage for a week, starting on 22nd June.

We found the cottage to be immaculate, spacious, comfortable, light and airy. If anything, the online photos don't do it justice! All the windows have a view of the sea, perfect for seeing the tide go in and out, or watching more energetic people surfing! The patio area was easily big enough for tables, chairs, and the deckchairs which are provided. There are also 2 surf boards and other surfing equipment available.

The kitchen had everything you could need, and more, with plenty of space, and again, views of the sea, we were very happy with it. The beds were comfortable, a big plus, as uncomfortable beds can ruin a holiday! The bedrooms were generous in size too.

The cottage is only a couple of minutes walk from the beach, perfect for out grandson who loves making sand castles and splashing about in the sea. We were very lucky with the weather, as we had sunny days all week, with the exception of the first day, which was quite cloudy.

This was our second visit to Woolacombe, last year we stayed in a different house, but we won't hesitate to book another stay in Bayview Cottage for our next visit, and we thoroughly recommend it to other people.

All in all, a very good holiday in an extremely nice cottage.

Had fantastic hol in most amazing dream cottage and location. Cottage was spotless and couldn't want for more had everything you needed to hand to make your stay the best. Had the most amazing views and close to all the amenities in woolacoombe and it's stunning dog friendly beach which our dogs loved. Will definitely be returning in the future to Bayview cottage and would definitely recommend holiday home Hunter for their excellent service during booking the holiday and information provided up to the stay.
