The flat is clean and spacious, modern with amazing views. Ideal for two couples or a family of four at a fraction of the price you would pay for decent hotel accommodation. It’s less than a five minute walk into Woolacombe with really good restaurants , cafes, bars and a supermarket. There are lots of amazing country and coastal walks in the area. Highly recommended
My Family and I used to stay at Parade house many years ago before this new refurbishment. The modernisation of the accommodation is amazing. We chose the View to stay at, with the excellent glass frontage view of the beach and the very handy safe fenced in garden we could let our two dogs safely run around in while we sat in the hot tub. The apartment is very spacious, beautifully designed, very clean and comfortable. It's location is one of the best in Woolacombe for being very close to the town but still with the almost unobstructed view of the beach. Customer service was excellent...more
Our third stay in this apartment and probably not our last. Perfect for our family of 4 (with 2 teenagers). They found the beds so comfortable! The apartment is perfectly located for trips to the beach - so close we don’t even wear shoes - just grab our boards and go! And only a minute from town aswell. A warm welcome as always from Roger & Sharon who are perfect hosts x
This was our third stay in Imperial 1. Check in was slightly later than usual due to the enhanced cleaning under the new Covid-19 rules and when we did get in, the apartment was as sparkingly clean as it always has been. It's had a lick of paint during lockdown and felt fresh and light and airy. Even on the swelteringly hot and humid days the apartment stays lovely and cool. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds and sofas are very comfortable. The short walk to the beach makes it perfect for families and having somewhere to store body boards etc downstairs is great. The owners, Roger ...more
Myself, husband, 2 young children and my parents stayed at 1 Crescent Yard Cottage at the end of August and it was absolutely perfect. It was easy to find, perfectly located, clean, spacious and home from home. We would definitely go back and stay. Thank you for a much needed holiday.
This is our first time at Bay View and will not be our last!!! It is a stunning cottage with fabulous views over the beach. The location is excellent, just 5 mins walk to the beach, restaurants and in particular walks with our dogs. It had everything we could want. This is the 5th time we have booked accommodation through Holiday Home Hunter and would definitely recommend them. Maddy and Sarah kept us informed every step of the way, especially whilst going through the difficulties relating to the Pandemic, as we had to re-schedule our original holiday.
Fantastic views from both living room and master bedroom. Flat is very clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Already booked for next year.
This property was not like the usual holiday flat with minimum facililities. Everything that might be needed was there.
breathtaking views, a fabulous holiday escape. great location, close walk although steep at times to the beach and villages
Spotless, fab view, immaculately presented, amazing location. Faultless stay. We’ve booked to return already!
Lovely holiday, apartment location excellent with stunning views. Will certainly return. Holiday home hunters were extremely helpful and efficient.
Really enjoyed our say at Combe Cottage, despite the stormy weather that week. The views from the cottage are excellent, and even when indoors on a wet day, the sight of the waves crashing on the rocks of Morte Point was wonderful. The cottage is well appointed, and spacious. Would definitely recommend. Very good location for walking the coast path or the hills at the rear.
We stayed here in August and were surprised by the amount of space there was. And best of all, loads of outside space with a two-level terrace overlooking the sea. The location, on the Promanade, is superb. Would highly recommend.
The house is perfect location for walking Woolacombe or Coastal Walk. Spacious and has everything you need. 2 large bedrooms and a twin room. Ideal for 6. You have everything you need for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.
I enjoyed looking at the view of the bay, people walking by look up and think "I wish we where staying there" . The house was very comfortable, it had everything required for a short stay.
Wow! Cliff Cottage has everything; spectacular views, fantastic outside space, clean, comfortable and very spacious inside, well equipped. We loved it so much that we booked a week for next year before we’d even packed to come home this time. I’ve read comments about the kitchen needing an update. Maybe but not an issue for us - what’s outside is the jewel in the crown and I struggle to think of anywhere more beautiful. These holiday homes have a high turnover of guests and along with that comes wear and tear despite the majority of guests having complete respect for another’s property...more
Another great stay in the Narracott apartment in Woolacombe. Excellent position and great views. Great service from Holiday Home Hunter. No problems at all and good communications. Our third time here and we will be back again booking with Sarah and her team.
We are frequent visitors to Woolacombe and usually book via Holiday Home Hunter- good customer service and higher quality rentals with direct sea views. Breakers is over looking Morte Point at the quieter end of Woolacombe- our favourite part! Large patio area with comfy outdoor furniture. We liked Breakers and would probably choose to stay again. Dog friendly. Only 2 issues for us: no clothes airer so we had to drape washed things over radiators and chairs, and the TV is sited far too high on the wall, and gave us bad neck ache- only option was to lay on sofas to watch TV in comfort (not th...more
Despite the weather, the bay window gave us splendid views during the endless pouring rain! If we could see Baggy Point, the weather was improving and if Hartland Point came into view, things were really looking up. But we didn’t mind, as we were warm and comfortable and could venture out on the occasions that the weather permitted. Seascape provided an ideal Covid relaxation haven in a mad year.
Really enjoyed this fantastic location in Woolacombe, set back slightly from the esplanade but nice and quiet with own entrance. Great furnishings and well proportioned rooms, super quiet and perfect for a working break and also a holiday with our collie. Loved the modern kitchen and relaxing lounge, good wifi. Tap in back bathroom was coming loose but plenty of hot water, great power shower and handy store for wetsuit. Good to have back access for car park too. Really good location and would definitely return.
Spotless clean and a very warm welcome. Thanks
Overcombe is a self catering apartment in an idyllic setting with superb views of Woolacombe Bay on the North Devon Coast. The property is part of a small complex built on the hillside between Woolacombe & the small village of Morthoe, and is the perfect Residence in which to relax, unwind, from where there are pleasant walks - and of course swimming! (the only possible downside for the elderly or infirmed are the 25 external steps upto the apartment). I thoroughly recommend this holiday let.
Lovely little place, great location with pub across the road, minutes to woolacombe and a few other shops just a stones throw away. Cottage was well equipped and great for our stay. It’s a little outdated, and the bed is very creaky but other than that it was great! We booked through holiday home Hunter who kept in contact throughout, they sent a lot of info prior to arrival, some things very regimented on when you could contact, checkin etc. They gave the info about it and particularly hammered it home just in case you didn’t understand but again other than that fine to use.
Great apartment in beautiful location -spotlessly clean and included everything you could need for a comfortable week away.
This is an excellent location with stunning views. Within easy reach of coast path walks , marvellous beaches and Woolacombe and Mortehoe village. If you're not up for a walk you can just choose your balcony and sit and watch the surfers or the sunsets or the tide come and go... Wonderful!
A wonderful week spent here. Great location, plenty of space and amazing facilities. Third time of staying here, love that we have a short walk to the beach. Lots of things to keep you amused if it’s a wet day. Only slight complaint is that in the second bedroom curtains and blinds don’t fit particularly well. Didn’t hinder our stay though. Would definitely like to return some day. A family with two energetic boys! To be in a luxurious apartment so close to the beach is wonderful.
The property at parade house is absolutely stunning, wonderful , breathtaking views of the Woolacombe beach and fantastic surroundings. The property is decorated very well and is very comfortable. The hot tub an added bonus. We would recommend they look at putting in an outside shower. More serving platters, side plates, cutlery would be welcomed as would materials to clean the bbq, rather than a £20 fine if not done adequately (it would have been helpful if the housekeeper had checked the bbq gas supply as we were unable to cook on it initially, thankfully the owner came by the next day)! This is a lovely comfortable apartment only 5 minutes walk from the surf. It is on the 3rd floor though so a bit of stair climbing required. I will probably try and book this apartment again next year.
Oceanview really does have an ocean view! Woolacombe's great big beach is 60 seconds walk away. The accommodation is comfortable. The showers, heating, kitchen appliances all work well. Worth noting that Oceanview is in an apartment complex that asks you not to bring your beach stuff into the apartment, so you have to figure out how to find and access the right outdoor storage hut. Otherwise, everything is straightforward.
Been frequenting woolacombe now for near 30 years of surfing. This was a much needed break in an apartment hitherto unvisited. Excellent sized accommodation with fantastic daytime and evening views (the master bedroom skylight enables the evening star show on a clear night). Great location within easy reach of both the town and both beaches (barricane and main beach). Would visit again, but unfortunately not during Covid madness season as going out was a real chore!!! This is in NO way a reflection on the accommodation but unfortunately did impact on the overall stay
The apartment was lovely and in a great location with fabulous views out the front bay window. We would recommend to friends.
Ivycott is a lovely warm spacious house , which made our stay in woolacombe very enjoyable and relaxing .an added bonus was that there is a public path next to the house which enabled us to walk into woolacombe .
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we were very pleasantly surprised by the spacious rooms, natural light flooding into most areas, the long veranda to sit out on and kitchen facilities were excellent. It was simply perfect for us; close to restaurants and wonderful walks in all directions. The apartment was well equipped and clean with parking immediately outside. We would highly recommend and love to return ourselves in the future.
We loved the location of the cottage. The views are amazing. The OK reviews are due to two things: Living room furniture: this is not comfortable at all for both the settees and dining room chairs Downstairs: Became very damp as the week went by. We aired the rooms but had flies and ants on the bathroom floor. We loved the cottage overall and are planning to stay again next year. The feedback is based on what can be improved to make the cottage even better than it is. The open plan upstairs accommodation/views is what will make us come back as it is award winning.
We loved the items left for us to enjoy but we had to wash all the cutlery and glasses and all the PAT TESTS were out of date and there was an iron with a failed sticker on it.
Combesgate View, at 3 Crossways Court is a beautiful property in a great location. There are stunning seaside views from the open living and kitchen area and also from the main bedroom. It is a 10 minute walk from sleepy Woolacombe town or from Woolacombe beach. Lots of lovely walks can be done from the property. Flat was left spotlessly clean with clear Covid instructions. Would definitely stay here again. Cannot fault. Thank you!
Our second stay in this apartment. First time was in 2016 with several of our children and grandchildren staying nearby. This year our earlier holidays were cancelled due to Covid so this was an opportunity to enjoy an October break in a place where we felt safe. We were easily able to self-cater, beds were very comfortable, the stunning view enabled us to watch the activity on the beach from the comfort of our armchairs and we were able to take walks nearby, enjoying the sea air. Be aware there is no wifi but we enjoyed doing jigsaws instead! We have had several holidays in Woolacombe over th...more
Excellent location, very clean and tidy. The only issue which needed attention was lots of mold on tiles in the ensuite which requires fixing. We would definitely recommend this property.
Just had a great week away at Little Beach with our two dogs. The imposition of the lockdown, slightly spoiled our stay in Woolacombe but we adapted and made full use of the beautiful sandy beaches nearby. Access to Little Beach was easy and had a dedicated parking space. Not an issue out of season but I would say it is a major asset in busier times. The location was perfect. Literally walking out the front access door on to the Esplanade and then a short walk to the beaches or bars/restaurants in Woolacombe itself. We stayed in the top apartment which had beautiful views of the beach a...more
We had two of our children, one grandson and one Great grandson during the week and we all enjoyed Stepping Stones, the view and activities around the beach were curtailed by rain every day but facilities at Stepping Stones were enjoyed by all generations.
We had a great week in the flat, bigger than we thought and the pictures of the front room and view from outside don't really do it justice. As well as high up sea views there's also rugged hills on the other side giving a great variety to look at. We found it well equipped and having a car parking space is a massive bonus in Woolacombe. Location is quiet and is perfect for the beach at Combesgate and the main woolacombe beach is less than 15 mins walk and misses out the big hills up to Mortehoe.
