We had a fabulous holiday in this homely and well equipped apartment. The location is amazing - perfect for walkers - the walk to the headland Morte Point boasts stunning views - there is the Barricane and Coombesgate beaches nearby, and you are just a short distance from the main surfing beach at Woolacombe. Mortehoe village has lots of places to eat, including two pubs, (one just opposite the apartment), a tea room, and a little village shop. The apartment is well.laid out, light & airy, and comfortable. Ensuite bathroom excellent with lovely hot power shower. Having the boot-room to ...more
Lovely property in great location. Well equipped with stunning sea views. Will definitely be back!!!
Over the years we have stayed in quite a few properties managed by Holiday Home Hunter and this is certainly one of the best. As we are in our late seventies and maybe less active, comfort, and a good view are most important to us and this property fits the bill. Much better equipped than the average holiday rental everything you could possibly need is supplied. The apartment is very tastefully decorated and has a real home from home feel and is surprisingly spacious. The parking at the rear adjacent to the entrance is a plus. The only observation that I would make is that pedestrian access d...more
Location superb. Property excellent, as expected from last year. Only (slight) concern is that there are no grab handles in the shower. Can be slippery, so anyone infirm could easily have an accident. Shame about the weather !
This is a lovely property overlooking Woolacombe's beautiful beach. The flat is very well presented, with 2 en-suites, and a splendid kitchen. The bedrooms are comfortable and well-equipped, and the flat feels light and spacy, with big windows providing great views. The living/dining area is perhaps a bit small for 6 people, so doesn't provide any comfy seating to take advantage of the amazing outlook. However the newly refurbed 'Barn' in the village centre is popular for taking in the sun, Barricane beach just a few steps from the flat is an amazing suntrap, with a cute daytime cafe and curry...more
This house was described as 'insane' by our teenagers - which is probably as good as it gets in the world of teenage compliments. The words fabulous and luxurious come to mind and the location is unbeatable. Within minutes from the from door we were in the surf and a only short sprint to the hot tub with a beer or prosecco at the end of the day. The town is equally close and the car stayed parked all week other than for a rib ride trip in Ilfracombe. The house itself is beautifully decorated and furnished with all you could need and incredibly warm and dry considering the high ceilings and the...more
Just returned from a lovely stay at The Beach House, Woolacombe, this was a second visit to a great house in a stunning location. Once again it didn't fail to impress us very clean and modern with everything provided. We've already booked a return visit.
This apartment is lovely. We have stayed here before to relax in comfort and enjoy the views, the location and the local beaches. Coombesgate is our favourite just across the road and down the steps Ah yes, steps Walking from the town or Mortehoe means uphill and then steps back up to No 7 But worth the effort and a glass of wine on the terrace is a worthwhile reward Great location for exploring, swimming, surfing, hiking as well as great places to eat locally and in the surrounding area Our favourites are the Beach House in Woolacombe, The Manor House in Croyde and The Rock at Georgeham
Combe Cottage has excellent facilities and fittings, and is always presented very well. Located opposite Combesgate beach, the outlook is fabulous. Holiday Home Hunter have a gem of a rental here.
Third time staying in this apartment and never disapoints. The new extension is brilliant addition giving so much more inside space and an incredible sea view from the seating are. We are a family of 6 with a toddler and a dog. There was more than enough space to accomodate all. Kitchen very well equipped so we could eat in most nights. Excellent value for money as centrally located so no paying for parking. Ideal to check surf, change into wetsuit and go! Will be back next year.
All was great as usual, would be useful to have a clock in the lounge and the sofa is very uncomfortable, but the location makes up for that .
We were greeted with a welcome pack of surprises also milk in fridge. The place was bigger than it looked on the pictures with beautiful views over Woolacombe beach. We had plenty of room for three families of various ages, the rooms were spacious with plenty of seating for everyone. The kitchen had plenty of empty space for our food which you don’t always get, plenty of cutlery and mugs etc for all of us. Dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, separate utility room. Bedrooms were very airy and spacious with plenty of room for luggage to be unpacked! Porch was useful for the ton of shoes...more
What a fantastic find this was! Had a really nice week staying in Shellsborough Penthouse. The accommodation had everything we needed, lovely lounge / dinning area with great views through the patio doors that led out onto a small but very usable balcony providing perfect views to watch the sun setting. Two large bedrooms, the master double was huge with its en-suite bathroom and stunning views through the large Velux window. The twin room had its own shower, toilet and wash basin and again a large Velux window with fabulous views. The kitchen is small but provides everything you need, even f...more
This was our second time at this location and as before it was not a disappointment, still the best view in Woolacombe , fixtures and furnishings spot on , comfortable sleep , no problems at all , will be back next year hopefully
Overcombe is a lovely accommodation, with everything that you need there to make your stay comfortable. The view from the front bedroom is lovely and also sitting in the wicker chairs in the lounge gives a great view of the sea.
Brilliant apartment, fabulous location and the benefit of 3 outside areas with sea views. Woolacombe is a beautiful village with outstanding beach and rolling countryside with cliff top walks
Great comfortable, clean, bright place with a great location of amazing view of Combesgate Beach and the sound of the waves. We love it there…. Highly recommended.
The View is perfectly placed where you can sit out and look at the beach and sea. It is not a noisy location and so you relax and enjoy your holiday. It is a very short walk to the village where you have restaurants, Spar and shops to buy mementos. If you have a problem then Claire (Cleaning and Maintenance) and her team are second to none. We have now been going for three years and we have booked for June 2026.
It was lovely to return again to Ivycott. A wonderfully homely and spacious property with a beautiful garden. Spotlessly clean on arrival. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms comfortable. Plenty of dining space and a cosy sitting room. Location perfect for walkers - and a short drive into Woolacombe for surfers. Excellent facilities for washing off/ drying/storing muddy boots/wetsuits/surfboards etc. We will definitely be back!
Would definitely recommend this 3 bedroom apartment with one of the best locations in Woolacombe. The views from the master bedroom are simply stunning, but the best feature is the very roomy terrace overlooking Woolacombe main beach and Barricane! Our family loved it and would happily return in the future.
Another great week in Woolacombe at Pandora Court. I think its the 4th or 5th straight year in a row for us now, so its all very reassuringly familiar. Enjoyed the great views from the terrace again and the convenience of being so close to town and the beach. We will be back!
Fabulous cottage with a central village location and a view to die for. Everything you need for a staycation. Within easy reach of beaches and costal walks. Plenty of space to accommodate 6 people, it’s like a tardis Booking process always made simple with Maddy. We will be back
The property doesn't seem to be cared for and is in need of maintenance and a thorough clean. The dining table is not suitable for six people and is very uncomfortable to sit at. On a positive note the beds are comfortable and the views are amazing.
We have stayed at Cliffside before but not since it's refresh under new ownership. It is a lot fresher with some lovely touches. Cannot wait to stay again. Ceri in Bucks
2nd time at 8 Little Beach, 6 years apart. A nice upgrade and redecoration since the last visit. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Woolacombe.
Everything you need in a central location close to the beach. Super house and a great holiday was had by all.
We've stayed at woolacombe many times, but this was the 1st time we've stayed at 1 Belmont Court and it was brilliant, from the location, just across the road from the beach, lovely balcony, parking right outside, and better than the photos show. Excellent communication from Holiday Home Humter, and we've already put a deposit down to visit there again twice next year!!
Large, comfortable apartment, near to beaches and cliff walks. We’ve been staying here for a few years now and find it suits us perfectly. Enclosed porch as you enter holds all your coats, boots, shoes, dog leads etc. twin bedroom then on your right and straight ahead a double roomy bedroom with small en-suite. Then left from porch is a lovely roomy bathroom with shower over bath. Through a door ahead of you is kitchen, then dining and large living area. The chairs are comfortable, high ceilings and light and bright, I love this room. Your own parking space is just outside, a tiny outside s...more
This is our second time staying at this apartment and it was as good as the first time (in fact we have booked again for next year). Great location, very comfortable and well equipped plus the views are just stunning. Only criticism is that the allotted car space is very tight and the visitor spaces tend to be taken as they are easier spaces to park cars. Still looking forward to next year. Thank you
Great views across Woolacombe Bay Quiet location Close to coastal path Private road parking Helpful housekeeping staff 200m to beach Hope to return again soon.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Honeysuckle Cottage. It is in a great location near to Ilfracombe and Woolacombe. It is a home from home with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also so lovely to wake to to hear lambs bleating in the morning. Would highly recommend this spacious getaway.
This was our second visit to Lower Deck. It is a fantastic apartment with a brilliant terrace and a kitchen/lounge with views towards Baggy and the sea. This apartment does not have all the white linen frills that others do but this is reflected in the price. For us it's perfect - always clean, very practical, walks from the door and a great view.
In a great location, comments from booking do state that the accommodation is on the tired side but would still expect certain standards to be met, the beds and bedding need replacing; we suffered with the mattresses and left the day before our last night. Gorgeous view but we had to clean the windows to see it. Also, owner is expecting builders imminently which we were told about a week before our holiday so no other option but to continue with our stay, lots of tooing and froing with emails, they turned up 8am on our first morning but then thankfully didn't return. We love Woolacombe and w...more
