Very welcoming and helpful staff who went out of their way to make sure all our guests had a fantastic time. Dawn, Kevin and Liz were all fantatsic!
I stayed here with a group of friends for a couple of nights due our Dales Way long distance walk. This accommodation really does offer excellent value for money and is ideally located in the charming town of Sedbergh. Customer service is first rate and I would highly recommend Howgills as a base if you are looking to explore this beautiful part of the world.
Great accommodation for our party - the hot tub is amazing, walks from the door, easy to get into town. Would definitely stay again.
A comfortable week was had by my friend and I whilst staying in this warm and clean apartment. Accessibility to the car was made easy by the patio doors to carpark. Sedbergh is equipped with shops for supplies and places to eat in close proximity. Owners and caretakers of the property only too happy to help if needed. Will have no hesitation to stay here again.
Had a lovely stay. Apartment was clean, cosy and well equipped for our stay with lovely view over the town and landscape. The apartment was ideally located for access to the lakes and places to visit, and was a welcome place to return to after a busy day sightseeing or walking.
After 3 days walking in the rain and two nights in a bivvy bag it was the height of comfort to have a hot shower and comfortable bed. Excellent facilities
We had a lovely stay at Howgills. the apartment was a great size and great that you could park at the back too. Many thanks Sarah
This was our 4th stay and we'll keep coming back. Why must I have more characters. If yoiu dont make this feedback easier we will down grade the review!!

The barn was open during the day which was helpful and we could park our cars there whilst we walked so it was all very laid back. Plenty of fridge space, cutlery, glasses and crockery however, one cooker over heated badly, not sure how the dishwasher worked and I think you should buy some brand new pans! We couldnt experience the Hot Tub for some reason........ which was disappointing.
We wanted a last minute no frills family room in the middle of nowhere with fantastic walks from the door. We also wanted hot tub access. The rooms were basic but had all you needed. The kitchen was well stocked, spacious and easy to use. The living/dining space was relaxed and again spacious. The hot tub was the highlight due to the views as you soaked. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. For a last minute night away it was a little over priced in my Yorkshire opinion and the hidden dog charge/ hot tub charge wasn't advertised on the website but we thoroughly enjoyed our entire sta...more
